Tim, That was a delightful episode. The Land of the Long White Cloud (27:18) with all bells and whistles. A privilege to be aboard the Train 02:22, boat 40:20 & particularly the float plane 32:33 with the coastal road and vistas! Excellent scenes, expertly assembled. Thank you. Peter
Hi Peter, I love the drive from Dunedin to Te Anau, in the past I have visited many of the sandy bays along the way, each one an unspoiled paradise, the mountains of Fiordland on the horizon never seam to get any closer, then without warning I round the corner and see the wonderful vista over the river heralding the start of the mountainous region. The float plane is a wonderful experience, such a nice way to see the lakes. I'm looking forward to editing the next part to Milford Sound, Mitre Peak shown at the end of this video is probably the most photographed scene in New Zealand. I'm pleased you enjoyed it and I appreciate your kind comment. Cheers. Tim.
Oh my what a beautiful fantastic awesome trip. That train looked like it was the smoothest ride. Awesome views as you rode the train. My how lucky and blessed you are to travel as you do. I do so love your trips and videos. And I share everyone with my train group. Ty Tim for making these videos and sharing with us all all your fantastic journeys. God bless you and your family always.
Hi, New Zealand is a beautiful country, fortunately I took plenty of video whilst I was touring last year, otherwise I'd be running out of new stuff to post. Trains will not feature as much until this Covid thing is over, because I can't travel overseas to film them at the moment and British heritage lines are running a very limited service. I hope you are keeping well, take care. Tim.
Your video of the Transalpine Train several years ago is one of my favorites. I’m glad to see you have more videos from New Zealand. Such a beautiful country.
Hi Frank, the lockdown has prevented me from getting out and about with my video camera, fortunately I shot a good deal of video whilst touring New Zealand in 2019, most of my rail related video has been used, so for a few months I'll take the opportunity to post travel videos. New Zealand is such an amazing country, it is hard to put the camera down, there is a beautiful scene waiting to be captured wherever you look.
Hi Tim! The New Zealand videos are great. One more beautiful than the other. Just right for today's rainy holiday. I think I managed to be the first to click today. Best regards from Hans and Cheers 🍺.
Hello Hans, it's lovely to drive next to the ocean, with its beautiful blue waters and white sandy beaches. The beaches are never crowded in New Zealand, most are empty, just the occasional seal and if you are lucky a penguin or two. It is raining here today, the temperature is close to normal for the time of year for the first time in weeks. I'm pleased you enjoyed the video. Take care. Tim.
Great video, stunning scenery. It takes me back to my own New Zealand road trip as well as filling in a few gaps. I didn't take in Doubtful Sound for example, but settled just for Milford Sound, so I am looking forward to seeing your next episode too. Thanks.
Cheers, I'm pleased you enjoyed it. It's a tough decision choosing Milford Sound or Doubtful Sound when you only have time to do one of them, they are both awesome, I was faced with the same choice on my first visit and I opted for Milford Sound too. The next video shows my third visit with one or two photos from my earlier trips. As you've visited this part of New Zealand, you will know that a video can give some idea of the rugged beauty of the towering mountains, but nothing can ever match actually being there.
Beautiful,You have brought us a lot of joy with your wonderful vids,Thanks tim,Cheer's bob.ps 2 weeks to spring in the wonderful world of oz can't wait ,take care.
Hi Robert, it's nice to know you enjoy these videos. Our summer will come to an end soon, just as yours gets started, the temperature has started to drop and we've had welcome rain today, it's been a very dry and warm one this year. Stay safe and take care. Tim.
Hi Tim another brilliant trip. Ive just come home from my road trip, East Coast over the Lewis Pass Chch and down to Dunedin, with my Nth Island girlfriend ive known since i was 17yrs old. Because of a weather bomb we didnt get from Dunedin to the west coast. Do you know there are wallabies in Waimate in the wild. We saw them. Waimate town is 6kms inland from the highway north of Oamaru. Once in Dunedin we saw x2 Royal Albatrsoss, one flew over the lookout we were standing on and another circled the visitors centre at Tiaroa Heads. We had lovely weather on our trip. The day we left Dunedin we saw on the news Dunedin had snow to sea level. We were back in Timaru still taking the sun with us till Arthurs Pass in torrential rain, but we loved it. Stopped at the bar-cafe for lunch and on to Hokitika then home to Westport via Coast road. My friend loved it. So i just letting you know Ilove your trips Tim.
Hello Eileen, those are places I'm familiar with as you know from my videos, I hope you had an enjoyable journey. Changeable weather is all part of the New Zealand experience, although snow at sea level doesn't happen so often. I didn't know about the wallabies, although I have seen them in the wild at Waimangu Valley near Rotorua. I always enjoy Dunedin, especially the Otago Peninsula, I've seen albatross every time I've visited, sometimes the Albatross centre is open other times it isn't, I believe that has something to do with the nesting season. Nice weather is always a welcome bonus. Arthurs pass, especially between Arthurs Pass and Otira is usually wet, in something like ten trips both by train an car, I've seen Otira in sunshine once, that was on my last visit. The coast road between Greymouth and Westport is beautiful. I'm pleased you enjoy the videos. Take care. Tim.
Hmmmmm......"Trains & Boats & Planes", good title for a song there, perhaps we could get Burt Bacharach and Hal David to write it and get Billy J. Kramer to record it...... could be a huge hit! LOL
Just occurred to me, I think both Burt and Hal have passed on, so I guess they'll be decomposing together! Guess it will be a case of ghost-writing the song..... a "spirited" effort! LOL
Hi Neil, I really wanted to call it Trains & Boats & Planes & Camper-vans, whilst it has a sixties vibe, it just doesn't seem to work. They don't make songs like that today.

Hi Mum, I thought you'd enjoy this trip down memory lane, I loved that drive along the Catlins Coast, do you remember the cow on the sand?
Thanks Tim for showing us what's out there. Great video!
Thank you, I'm pleased you enjoyed it.
Another great video! Thanks Tim! Do keep well. xx

@@Timsvideochannel1 Quite. If only the plane journey was shorter!
@@MrWillijohncoote The plane journey is a challenge, I live in the UK, about as far from New Zealand as it's possible to be.

Hallo, het watervliegtuig was een geweldige ervaring, de reis die je deed was zeer goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding.
5:00 You've got "Blanket Bay" well "covered"! LOL Nice video though!
I think it might have something to do with the blanket of mist that often covers the bay.
Bom dia Pernambuco Brasil
