New version of drop the mic is to drop the pick :D pretty cool. I love the tension in this riff, it's kinda groovy and badass. The key sounds like Mastodon like stuff. Definitely one of the kind and one of the best across your riffs!

Hey mate, sorry for the late response here! Great question. I think I overall prefer playing my Aristides than the Ibanez KRYS10 in this video, and I think the Aristides is a better guitar than it as well. However I think my other Ibanez, the AZ2402 is more comparable to the Aristides. So I'll give you my thoughts on those two.
At the moment my AZ2402 is a shiny new toy so it's getting a lot more attention than my Aristides, but when it comes down to it they're both in a similar league and I like them both for different reasons.
The AZ has a trem which is really nice for solos and improv, but even though it's an incredibly stable trem and it stay in tune really well, a hardtail like the Aristides is always going to be a little easier to deal with for recording etc. But that's just a model thing, it'd be the inverse if I had an Aristides with a trem and a hardtail AZ.
I do much prefer the neck profile on the Aristides. I have pretty small hands and it's one of the most comfortable necks I've ever played. Not to mention the fact that I had noticeably less hand fatigue and was able to play for longer when I first got it. The AZ neck is much chunkier than I expected it to be. It's still quite comfortable, but it's not to my preference.
You can get more tones out of the AZ with it's switching system, but Aristides are custom so if that's something you want you can just order it.
The Aristides is more often in tune and requires less maintenance than the AZ as it's made entirely of weather resistant materials, so I've only had to minorly adjust the truss rod once in 3ish years. My AZ has already had to have a couple of minor adjustments in the 3 months I've owned it.
The Aristides is more resonant, I find I get a little more sustain out of it. Again, due to the materials.
I prefer the compound radius of the Aristides.
Being picky with this one: I can get lower action and especially without fretting out on bends above the 12th fret on the Aristides, this has been a minor annoyance for me with the AZ on a couple of things but it's really not thattt much of a difference.
I don't like the locking tuners on the AZ at all, and I'm not alone in that. I think they're annoying and unnecessary and it takes me twice as long as the Aristides to restring. The locking tuners on the Aristides are perfect, stable and straightforward.
So overall I probably do prefer my Aristides, and I do have a sentimental attachment to it that I don't have with the AZ. But at the end of the day they compete with each other and it's mostly just preference. They both have fantastic fretwork and stay in tune super well. They sound, feel and look great, are made with high quality components and have a reputation for being incredible, high quality instruments.
Hopefully that's helpful! Feel free to ask anymore questions and I promise I won't be so slow to reply next time haha.

Man, if either of those companies want to sponsor me I'd welcome it with open arms haha. I love both of them so I'd honestly be stoked either way.
