This is by far THE best LIVE version of this song I have ever seen. The original song still makes me move right to my bones and the back up singers are great on both versions but the original cannot be touched. It is one of the Stones top 100 songs because I love almost Everything they do! Pretty obvious that Keith Urban loves the Stones. I hd never heard of him before . Now I am respectful.
I'm sure he did! I love going to his concerts (13 and counting) and watching those that are seeing him live for the first time. He's hands down the best live performer I've ever seen - and I've seen lots!
As brilliant as it gets. From introspection,"don't need more jewels in my crown" to his greater purpose, "all week, we'll be watching the Cumberland rise!" Was a doubter of this Aussie 10 years ago. No more.
Only country star that would open a country show with a rolling stone song than less than three weeks later hes playing with them in La staple center to a sold out crowd.played at eric clapton crossroads ladt moth to this.country boy can rock.
A lot of love went into this tribute performance. What a great big band. Beautiful mix by whomever. The Stones own organ player throwing in with huge work. But those girls! They carry the whole experience to another level. Drummer missed a beat on the intro but otherwise show me a live Stones version with comparable cohesion and spark. These guys meant it. Thanks.
Fallon's intro should have been "...long time Rolling Stone keyboardist Chuck Leavell, together with Keith Urban..." Chuck is a legend in his own right - and Urban gracious enough to allow that. Top notch performance, the slight slip made it that much more a tribute - Richard's would relish the imperfection.
Wow, I have to say, being a huge Stones fan and a Exile fan in particular-check out my only video-Mr Urban really nails the song, in fact I think he does a better job than the Stones themselves do live. It's not as great as the original version on the album, but I honestly don't think anybody could, since that is the standard.
@MexiRican1964 - different times, different presentation, different arena, different guitar, different singer - Personally I like this production and Urban's interpretation and KU is hands down far better on the eyes ... You might like to check with Keith on his opinion of Keith as a guitarist - You might be surprised ...
Fantastic cover exccellent
I love this cover song that Keith did. He is an amazing singer and guitarist 😊❤🎼🎵🎶🎤🎸

Love, love, love this!
yeah, he did this at the crossroads festival while i was there, and by the next day i was listening to a ton of his music.
Wow just Wow.... Keith Rocks in this version ... His signature 'GUITAR MOVES' is an experience.
Keith Urban is the second-best rock guitarist in country music. (First is Vince Gill. Brother can PLAY.)
Snidely Whiplash Totally. Man, Vince can tear it up.
Oh man he just killed that!!!
Great Great Solo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This rendition beats the Stones hands down. This was an awesome performance!
Magnifique interprétation de ce classique des stones
Just found this. Hawt!!!
The pianist/keyboardist for the Rolling Stones, Chuck Leavell, can be seen playing with them.
Not a fan of Urban. Not a fan of country at all.
But I got to say, he did a good job.
The best...
EEEEEE....AWE ! SO SO RIGHT !!
@JBarcia174 Ahhhh- it's actually "Tumbling Dice." It's a classic Rolling Stones song.
@Amazingsound Yeah, I mean I was aware of him but this made me take notice. I wish they had put it out on mp3.

Beatiful cover Keith
Rolling Stones have been owned on this one
Notice the two gals from Little Big Town are the back up singers!
who is that playing the keyboard???
LOL I got so excited I spelled it wrong!!! LOL
Is that chuck lavell in the back
+Zakari Wahid Yeah. Keith even name-checks him @3:33 or so.
Word on the backup singers. It's a great performance anyway, but those backup singers and the keys just pulled the whole thing together.
snidelywhiplash Little Big Town
Haha for sure Barb!:)
LOL@ Brain Nutter... hehe
No he didn't. Chris McHugh is one the best in the business.
You play the last drum flam late. Its not a 4 beat clock. Its a shuffle.
after the solo brad nutter came in when he wasn't supposed to. look at keith's reaction and you can see. brad screwed up and he knew it.
KIM KAREN SARAH...FUKIN WOW...best honkette ensamble ever...FUKIN WOW🙊🙉🙈
