2nd Alarm Fire in Eckington, Washington, DC

Around 12:05am, Washington DC Fire and EMS units responded to a Box Alarm on the 300 Block of Seaton Pl NE, in the Eckington, neighborhood, on Monday, April 15, 2024.
Engine 12 arrived within 4 minutes of the initial call, and found fire on all four sides, as well as the roof, of a 2-story brick building. The fire had spread to the house next door, as well as exposures across the alley, partly due to a car parked in the rear that had caught fire. Firefighters started an aggressive interior attack, and knocked the fire. There were no injuries, and had more than 100 firefighters on scene.
