Thx for the feedback. We're late unfortunately. They already yanked the cabinets and gave it bigger windows. Looks sharp, but I groan a little every time I see more store phased out
Haylett RV The newer design does look sharp but I’m kinda torn for loose storage space. We are trying to figure out how we want to spec out our next trailer. Your videos are very educational, thank you!!
These floor plan signatures make it very difficult to choose between these and the Grand Design 2600 series T/T's. Keep overhead storage. Even if you don't use it to its capabilities, later on you may.
I Love this Travel Trailer. The only Thing I don't like is the second door in the bedroom. can that be taken out and more closet storage be put there in it's place In the bedroom?
Extremely well-done video. Informative and entertaining. You can never have enough storage. In fact, they can add or even enlarge the storage in a few other spots throughout this model. BAM
Very true! Glad you enjoyed your visit with us! We have more videos coming out daily & even include content for used campers not usually found out there!
I have a 2016 Rockwood mini-lite 1909S. It has storage above the couch and I love it. Even tho storage is at a premium in this little guy, there are things that just seem to belong in a cabinet above the couch.
I agree, Kathy! Would love for FR to come out with a lighter interior (something in the line of Jayco "Country"), as well as the darker tones. Also, KEEP the cabinets; STORAGE is IMPORTANT! Keep up the good work and taking polls, Josh! Y'all Be Safe!
For short distances a properly equipped 1/2 ton may be okay. I say "short distances" because while a properly outfitted 1/2 ton can certainly pull it the trailer is quite long and can cause sway to occur more easily on a lighter duty truck. If you had a rare long bed 1/2 ton you'd likely be okay. 3/4 & up would be more ideal mostly due to the length of the RV.
The unit in this video is from a few years ago and has long sense found a home. Rockwood has similar models in their lineup currently Of course. Our team members could assist you in finding one
we love this unit need to see on in person soon! as far as overhead cabinets keep the ones over the theatre seats your facing in there anyway get rid of the 3 over the table & go high with the window. that would be a great view & open things up. I'm just saying :)
Ok! I LOVE! L! O! V! E! Love! This model! Does a model like this with a bunk and outside kitchen exist? With the residential fridge? I need a travel trailer due to my F350’s hauling capabilities (no fifth wheel hitch or goose neck hitch). And if I can be more picky... would LOVE a bath and a half... you know but that’s probably asking for too much 😅
What do you think about the 8336bh vs grand design imagine 3250bh? I am trying to figure out which to get. Both I can order right here from dealerships in Minnesota. I like the features of the Rockwood and the 130 gallon grey water tank. I am concerned about the tandem axle capacities for 11k + gvwr

@@bffbecky Sorry perhaps I've misunderstood - Are you having trouble on our site or Forest River's? 2021 is the current production model year. This RV would now be a 2021 Rockwood 8335SB
Extended season, though they do all the things brands do who *claim* "Four seasons." Here's the question: Are you going to be camping when the snowflakes are flying? If not, then you're fine. If briefly, then you're fine. If you want to hard arctic camp, then an ulralite brand is not the recommended style of RV anyway.
They've adopted a 50/50 sort of thing last I knew. Table & Chairs = big windows Dinette usually = cabinet overhead... but sometimes they go with all windows. TY for the feedback though
The answer depends on which Rockwood you're referencing The "Signature" series rockwoods have never used azdel in the walls before but they are going to start doing that in the 2023 models (i've personally seen it to verify btw) This model, however, is being retired with the 2023 rollout so THIS model has never been made with azdel wells
Booth and & Table/Chairs are available factory options. We tend to order them both ways. Give our a team a call at 800-256-5196 & we can get one set up for you!
Keep the overheads!!! Lots of items fit in there perfectly! Kitchen stuff, board games, extra fans, first aid kits, picnic items, flashlights, extra clothes, craft supplies, toys...I hate to see the overheads going away. More storage, not less!!
I love this model. The Rockwoods have one of the largest bed booths. I believe its 6'. Are the drawer bottoms in the Signature sturdy? We have found that our Ultra lite 2608BS drawer bottoms need to be reinforced.
It's a relative term. Your needs are going to be based on what cargo you put in them. Difficult for me to offer a fair idea one way or the other with limited information.
The windows are large enough. I am always interested in more storage so I would like to see the overhead cabinets remain. I have seen in some trailers where they omit the cabinets from year to year and it is disappointing.
Haylett RV I feel it should have been slid towards the front of the trailer so it covers the outdoor speaker and more awning space. I love everything else about it though
Love our Rockwood over the dinette cabinets. Big windows are nice, but if FT, need storage. Don't like floor vents, like ours in the cupboards. Josh, your videos are great! Thanks for asking US what we like.
I like the overhead cabinets. I understand the value of a bigger window but I almost feel like something important is lost when you do that. I understand different strokes for different folks. Just my opinion. I wouldn’t mind this as an empty nester camper with a 3-way fridge. I understood not everybody would want to tow this around all the time. This would definitely be a rig I would want to have custom built to my liking. I’ve always loved the front cap on these and the way they look behind a truck is just amazing.
Keep the cabinets. There is never enough storage. Also manufacturers need to make king size beds standard and do away with the queens. The other thing lacking is an electrical outlet in the cabinet above the bed with space for a CPAP machine. Seeing as this is a camper for two, in all likelihood, it will be seniors buying these and we need bigger beds because the majority of us are much bigger than we used to be.
Please keep the cabinets. Never too much storage (better to have and not need it than need it and not have it). Just my thoughts. And thanks for all you do.
Definitely keep the overhead cabinets. When traveling, it's not a bad thing to go outside for a better view. A window just needs to let you see the weather before you go outdoors.
Add me to the "never enough storage" crowd! We especially like the storage above the dining table. We keep a lot of food type items above the table that may be needed during the course of a meal. An easy reach to the cabinet above the table sure beats crawling out of the dinette to go fetch something. The other thing to consider is if you are camping with four or five people, you need space for all that clothing and what-not. This unit has great storage in the master bedroom, but I don't see a lot of areas up front that would work well for additional clothing storage. Overall, when I watched this video I thought the front section of the trailer was generally short on storage space, while the master bedroom was plenty good.
If you hold your phone up to the glass on the door, you can connect your phone to the control panel 🤦🏻♂️ I do it all the time. On my own trailer of course lol
Keep the storage and I'm not a fan of the residential fridge. Maybe you can also suggest moving away from that light color stitching on the dark upholstery. It looks cheap and reminds me of old ugly jeans. Just my 2 cents.
Two different gas/elec fridges are available (one larger than the other). Neither near the size of the fridge here. I think fridge selection really varies based on how you plan to use it. We like to keep its little brother, the 2608BS Ultra-Rockwood on hand for those looking to travel more whereas this is really geared more toward park-campers.
Love the dark cabinets. Great floorplan. 👍
Keep the storage above the dinette !!! PLEASE !!! You can NEVER HAVE ENOUGH STORAGE ROCKWOOD !!!
Sadly they phased it out but TY for sharing your thoughts. MFGs are continue to favor maximized windows in slides over storage
Bigger Windows! 👍
Keep the above storage cabinets!
I like this one.
Keep all overhead cabinets
I’d skip the door in the bedroom and put in a closet! Excellent spot for the rain gear and heavy coats for the mountains. Keep the overhead cabinets.
I don’t think that’s possible due to fire code. The RV is long enough it might be required to have a 2nd door there
Keep cabinets above would change booth out only cause I sew & do crafts need a area to do nice trailer!!!
I like the slide topper
I noticed no solar ?
Solar wasn’t standard back in 2020
Keep the overhead storage cabinets.
I just bought a 2022 Rockwood 8336bh
Can you add a solar panel to to roof and yes please keep the overhead storage
Yeah you can. This video is a bit dated as is covers a 2020 model but the current generation of these have several solar options
Keep the over head storage 100% 8335bss, 2020. Did table chairs but nearly identical
keep the overhead, need that important storage.
Jayco still being pretty good about it in their Eagle series thankfully
Josh, Did not see a 110V outlet in bathroom for my electric shaver. Did just miss it ? Thanks so much.
There is most definitely. I would have to peek again to see where exactly but there’s one in there
Yes!! Love the drawers under the bench. Beautiful kitchen, so much storage. My future home👍🏻😊
Appreciate all your info and time in these videos.
Our pleasure. Ty for watching deb

Try this one.. bit.ly/31tsviU
Keep OHC always!
I own a Rockwood 2606 and 1 of the main reasons I bought it was for the big shower, why would they put a tiny shower in this beautiful RV ?
Different models have different foci. This one is built around big living/bedroom space.
Keep over head cabinets over seating
in the bedroom, under the bed. what's that bar in the middle, that has the 2 pieces of wood, attached to another metal bar?
Ok I see That's for the draws That pull out, as part of the draw storage.
I Love this Travel Trailer. The only Thing I don't like is the second door in the bedroom. can that be taken out and more closet storage be put there in it's place In the bedroom?
No, it cannot. Rv builders aren’t able to make adjustments like that in the way the housing market could
Can you live in this travel trailer full time?
Would love the w/d in the 8332bs, but with the bedroom in the front maybe not possible.
I can confirm the 8332BS has no provisions for a W/D installation.
Extremely well-done video. Informative and entertaining. You can never have enough storage. In fact, they can add or even enlarge the storage in a few other spots throughout this model. BAM

I wish rockwood would do a different shower they seem stuck on corners
I need this trailer
really great floorplan and layout, its a goldilocks model, has pretty much the features you want and doesn't try to do too much.
I have a 2016 Rockwood mini-lite 1909S. It has storage above the couch and I love it. Even tho storage is at a premium in this little guy, there are things that just seem to belong in a cabinet above the couch.
No leave the overhead cabinets never take away storage 😊
How does the auto leveling system work on this trailer
Sorry, but the best answer I can offer is really "with the push of a button." Did you have specific information you were seeking?
No keep the storage
Nice layout. As someone who has a hobby that requires storage, I say keep the overhead cabinets!
What is said hobby?
Scrapbooking and card making. I even take it tent camping.
wowzer...what beauty....just needs a white interior:)

What size truck do you need to pull this trailer that you featured on RUclips

keep the cabinets, smaller windows are better more storage is better

Rockwood needs to keep the overhead storage. Always need extra storage. First timers that don’t understand, will when they get going.
I like the overhead cabinets. I understand the value of a bigger window but I almost feel like something important is lost when you do that. I understand different strokes for different folks. What's funny is in king-standard models the most common request we get is for a queen bed. There's still a LOT of demand both ways.
There can never be too much storage; never delete cabinets for windows. IMHO if this model was flipped front to back it would be great.
Storage please. Also, I would take a wider window over a taller window.
Cabinets! Love windows but love storage more
I love the overhead cabinets, never too much storage!

Keep the cabinets !! It’s most important to have lots of storage
Please keep the cabinets. Never too much storage (better to have and not need it than need it and not have it). Just my thoughts. And thanks for all you do.
