Having opened in December 2009, the Rendezvous Restaurant has continued to go from strength to strength. Within its first month the restaurant had gone from nothing to being regularly full. Beyond all expectations that trend has continued, even during the Tenerife's traditionally quiet periods in May and June.
Aside from its tranquil settings, this feat has been achieved in no small part to its friendly, professional staff. But, like all restaurants, although the setting, staff and service is important, the biggest, most important element is the food itself. It is what it makes the restaurant so attractive to residents and holiday makers alike. The food, prepared and cooked to order, from fresh delicious ingredients, right down to the individual sauces, is simply delicious.
Given the setting, the quality of food, and the service you would expect to pay "top dollar". Therein lies the other "secret ingredient" of the Rendezvous Restaurant -- The prices. Where most businesses seem intent in setting prices as high as the possibly can, the Rendezvous Restaurant believes in proving great food at reasonable prices.
No, you won't get the "3 courses for 9 Euros" offer here, but neither will you get frozen food, fresh out of the microwave either. Nor will you be expected, nor should you expect, to be "in, fed and out in half an hour" either. Instead, you will be able to choose from the restaurants extensive, mouth-watering menu, in the knowledge that your choice of food will be cooked to order using fresh ingredients while you enjoy the ambience and the conversation of your dining partner(s).
This restaurant isn't busy for no reason. Its hundreds of regular resident and holiday making customers cannot be wrong. The Rendezvous Restaurant should be on your "must do" list. Just one hint though, to avoid disappointment it is highly recommended that you book.
