I'm from Portugal, I'm 62 now. I was in the audience at the Hammersmith Odeon back then on the 19th June 1977 (I lived in London from 1975 to 1977). That was the only 10cc I attended live and I loved it. For me that was the "first sitting for the last concert"...
This is it! I love this song so much! The 10cc's album I listened at first is The Original Soundtrack. This song, The second sitting for the last supper caught my heart and really exited me than any song on the album. Of course, I also love I'm not in love, Blackmail, Life is a Minestrone ...and all songs! エリックの自信満々でキラキラ☆のちょいドヤ顔がいいですね♪
Remember them at the Apollo in Manchester, I was there, some of the concert was put on the album live and let live , amazing album and amazing band, also amazing times too .
Thank you SO MUCH, RetroSteve62, for putting this out at all. I hate what happened to 10cc after the uber-brilliant Godley & Creme left. But I guess it was meant to be.
I hear that. Could you imagine 5 more albums from the original band. If they were promoted a little better, who knows. If you ask me, this band had more talent than any other.
I think the whole point about Godley and Creme is that they were a second songwriting team within the group and that their musical contributions (particularly vocal) added breadth and depth to the group. A successful group is one where the whole is more than the individual parts, and with Godley & Creme 10cc was a far more complete entity. I was saddened by their departure, but you can't hold back highly creative individuals from doing what is right for them, and thats the top and bottom of it.
@@timhancock6626 as Graham Gouldman would say in an interview years later, " as far as Kevin and Lol leaving the group, the worst thing that Eric and I could have done was to stand in their way of that".
Shame it wasn't the 4 of them. It is this sort of track, a non single as far as I know, that made their first 2 albums so brilliant. After that it went down a bit (Original Soundtrack was good but overproduced and tending towards being pretentious). But listen to 10CC and Sheet Music which followed. Talent, lyrics, humour, musicianship, tunes they had it all. The most underrated British band ever.
In my opinion, they were good right up to, and including, _Deceptive Bends_ which showed that Stewart and Gouldman could keep the momentum going for a while without Godley and Creme. But then they fell over the cliff.
Does anyone know if this concert was ever released on dvd? The sound quality is amazing considering the year that it was recorded. Graham Gouldman is such a great bass player and the rest of the band are on fire.Very wonderfullllllll.
@@toddblanks probably stiff joints in his hands - he's no spring chicken no more! Still worth going to see them - if the postponed gigs happen next year...

Thank you very much indeed for sharing your personal memories about this event!
That's an essential complement to the video I think.
nice comment Virloglino...what a great name guy!
Only 44 thousand views in 8 years? This deserves 44 million!
This is really rocking and rolling. They were superband!

This band masters many genres. They are in the top ten of all time.
FABULOUS!! My favourite group’from the 70s
One of the best songs of 10cc!
This is the one I listen to the most. The piano solo at the end is tremendous. Pretty much 10cc’s rockiest song.

Yes, me too. Great concert
Damn. They were so amazing!
Never heard it before - IT's 10cc n' it's fine by me
My favourite live track from the band, brilliant
My god this band could rock hard
Wow! A really good grungy version of the song...
How would one even begin to follow that? Oh ERIC!!!!!!!!!
Sono una persona. Che sta molto male... Ma quando vi vede...

Godless and crème were not Uber brilliant, this is a myth

Cheers for uploading this

Wow. :)
Tight. Lol gone by this time? Great song, Thanks!
Lol and Kevin both gone by this time.
Fab ending 😎
Intro is very Queen influenced! "Modern Times-Rock & Roll!" Love it!
LOL No Queen here at all. 10cc were thankfully way above them. The other way around may have been the case, where Queen got a few pointers from them.

This is from Original Soundtrack.
Um, no. Original Soundtrack came after those first two. This track is from Original Soundtrack.

It was only released in the late 1990's in England and well the only other way is a bootleg copy on Ebay...I think

The english Steely Dan.
Godley & Creme out of the band, this i "5CC", sounds good though.
Not sartorially brilliant, but all the rest is.
There are some seriously dodgy haircuts and facial hair going on there!
