- This is the creek series! Mark and I are back at it. This time though we have my side by side so we can just ride down the creek to find the best holes. The only issue that could mess everything up is that we got a lot of rain last night. Either way though, we are going to the creek and we will catch something.

Your GOPRO is overheating because you're using a power bank and the gopro battery together. Take out the go pro battery and just run on external power and it won't overheat anymore. Creek series!!

Hey DC, love watching you and Mark on this Creek Series fishing...Wish you guys could get to Kentucky in your off season so I can put you guys on some 2lb to 5lb smallies...It is an absolute blast...Elkhorn Creek is well known for its brown fish...Tons of fishing and wading waters...I have caught as many as 25 fish 2-3 lbers in a day and of course a ton of smaller fish, I have also waded the waters with snow on the ground and of course some darn good waders...Hit me up if it is something you would be interested doing...Thanks

You missed 4 in a row, asking "Why?" each time. The why is simple: your offering was too big. The vast majority of creek bass have small (very small) mouths. You must DOWNSIZE! In a creek, the Roostertail is king. A ¹/¹⁶ or ⅛oz black or gray minnow Roostertail can not be beat in a stream. Period. It has 3 times the hooks and they're perfectly placed, in the rear. It catches more. Seeing your 1st locale was "blowed out" (that's Adair learnin'👍🏼), you correctly ascertained it was a no-go. Good call. Stream fish are primarily sight feeders. Your stream tackle box should be this: a pill bottle with 4 Roostertails and 4 crappie heads, and a bag with 4 Spider Slider heads, ½a dozen BB Crickets (or your preferred 3" craw), and some Baby Boot Tail Shads (or your preferred crappie jig). That's it. One bottle, one bag. Trust me on the Roostertail.
