Hello everyone! Thanks to Marty for doing this special video for me! If you have any questions I can certainly answer in the comments. I did buy this from my parents for one dollar and I also forgot to mention my father before he had this Avalon, He had a 97 Toyota Avalon that also drove for 450,000 miles as well before he sold it.
I have an 07 i bought in 2020 for $5200 with 92k. Gave it to my daughter for Christmas last year after purchasing a 2011 ls 460L. Has 115k on it now and just replaced the condenser for the ac for $900. Replaced the entire suspension along with brakes and tires before handing it off to her. She's gonna pass it down to my son in 2 years when he turns 17. Such a great ride
Thanks also to Marty for making this excellent video of Tyler’s high mileage Avalon. I’m starting to watch some of Marty’s videos about his Lexus LS 460 and let me tell you, they are great!
Nice car Tyler. I'd say you definitely got your moneys worth. I just bought a 2006 Avalon XLS in August of last year with 109K miles (now 113K) but I paid quite a bit more than you did. Everything works perfectly and the only two things I did was to replace the battery and change out the dreaded rubber VVT-i line with the metal one. Once I drove the car I was sold - it rode just my old '66 Wildcat GS convertible. I also have a one dollar car - a 2007 Forester that I bought in 2020 with 70K miles (now 82K) from my father-in-law. I do have quite a distance to go to reach your kind of mileage.
@@MartinSunny-r1h Toyota's automatic transmission fluid will outlast any component on the car there's plenty of these cars with well over 200k miles and no service done to the transmission I wouldn't worry about it but if you really want to you can go ahead and change it just be careful at where you change it since there's no dipstick you don't even know what's in there
Also, I purchased a piece that connects to the back of the stock radio and it connects me to Bluetooth as soon as I get in. It wasn't that expensive either. Totally worth it. Especially after adding aftermarket subs too

Has the transmission fluid ever been serviced ?
No one is giving me a legit answer for that. I own a 2016 Avalon. Everyone says just check for a leak.....I can't take the idea of lifetime stuff...

Not recent as my dad owned it From day one. I got it for over 2 years now and aside from a flare from the 1>2 shift on low speeds. No complaint
