    I would like to thank you very much for the content and make one small remark regarding the term Prof. Zwiebach writes down at 17:58 ...
    I think that, following the results from lecture 2.4, the term captured by the curly brace (and just that) should be E_{n,q} ^ (1) * delta_{lq} instead of E_{n,l} ^ (1) * delta_{lq}...
    Then, after evaluating the delta function, the only left term is the one for q=l.

      It only depends on which side of you deltaH acting on. If you act on the left side, then you get the E_{n.l}.
