Texas forces Oregon to punt but BJ Johnson fumbles deep inside UT territory. Oregon immediately capitalizes with the signature play of the game, an 18 yard WR pass to QB Harrington.

Texas has a 14 play drive with nice catches by BJ, Brandon Healy and a great Hodges run ending with a Hodges TD run
14-7 Oregon
Texas stops Oregon with a Kalen Thornton tackle on a QB option. With a 53 yard catch by Brandon Healy and a good Hodges sideline run, Simms runs it in for a TD.

Oregon losing offensive moment as the Texas defense playing with more intensity. Harrington throws a Pick 6 to Greg Brown.

Texas, Beau Trahan, blocks a punt and Marcus Wilkins recovers at the Oregon 30. Texas could have put the game away at 28-14 here with 1:11 on the clock but fails to score because of a sack then a holding penalty.
Simms ends the half with an INT on a hail mary, counts in the stats but meaningless.
