I was at this game with my wife and son sitting on the 40 (PAC 12 side of course) about 10th row busy buying beers for everyone around me (even the longhorn fans- they needed the drinks to lessen the pain). We (Oregon) only ran about 4 plays that night otherwise it would have been like kicking a dog with 3 broken legs and we all know that's not nice. Consider the low points scored a courtesy to Mack Brown he will never be able to return in kind as he tastefully retired. For anyone that was there that night around me...sorry for trash talking UT fans so much, BUT at least I bought a shit load of beer for all of you! I think Bevo will miss Mack.
I remember rushing home to watch this game and as soon as I got home and turned the game on the score was 13-7and even my mother knew that the game was already over🤣🤣🤣
Oregon is going to be dominant in 2014. Stanford's losing pretty much everyone except their QB and Oregon got a 6'2" WR a 6'0" 240pd RB and two offensive linemen that are 300+ lbs. Couple that with a healthy Mariota, and brining back Ekpre-Olomu and damn man...I can't wait!
Watching this for the 3rd or 4th time since I love to re-live games that Mariota played in. Miss him and DAT, Tyner, and all the talented people we had on defense. Especially at the Line-backer position.
This bowl was a total mismatch. When I found out Texas was playing Oregon I was furious. I knew they would stomp us and they did. It made me mad that Texas even accepted the bid. There were teams that would have been much better match-ups for each.

Plus I respect Mack Brown and he could've had a better chance to go out with a win. Honestly Oregon should've been in the Orange Bowl that year and Texas should've faced Arizona State or UCLA...

dang mariota ran the ball alot that game, imagine if he was still able to run that much now. of course its the NFL he wouldnt last as long, but titans sure dont use his legs unless he has to,

Announcer says "Mariota's gonna run with it" before he decides to run; he says 'nice throw and catch to Tyner' before Tyner catches the ball. Also, you hear whistles blowing the play dead before the play stops.
Did anyone else hear that Texas player say "Bitch ass Nigga!" On T.V? I'm not racist but I guess he forgot what color he is lol, I think it's #24 Malcom Brown RB not too sure.
Its like saying What's Up Bro :p Oregon was saying before the game that Texas was weak soo when Texas starting stopping the Duck offense they started getting hype :) pretty damn good since Oregon only scored 2 offensive touchdowns!
