Thanks for the information ☺️ The problem about telling people where is good to live is that they moved there, bring their relatives and friends, then start messing up the cities.
THANK YOU FOR SAYING THIS!!! ❤❤ I was born and raised in austin tx (born in 77) and i really never planned on living anywhere else. It was paradise imo .... until around 2011 when the invasion of Californians picked up. It has gone from a clean friendly diverse hippy town with its own special culture to a dirty, rundown overcrowded dangerous and snotty LA 2.0. My sons never got the chance to experience many of the great traditions we did that were passed down to us by our parents. Austin is ruined ... i dont recognize it in any capacity. I no longer brag openly about my other texas sweet spots ... and i wish others would stop too.
Depending on which side of HH you live … it can be a great neighborhood but … check your potential home area at nighttime before moving in! Anywhere near the HS and up towards Nolanville is good. Depending on location … you might get the better MS or HS. Zones change though. You might be at the better school this year, but the zone could change in 2-3 years. Be careful.
No nightlife, bars or clubs besides restaurants??? Did you forget about the business 190 strip? All it is, is bars and clubs, dancing, until like 4am. Every type of genre.latin to country. R-nB to Korean karaoke.
Property taxes had a huge increase this year across the board. The home prices are less than the Austin area though. In your opinion, what’s the best city to live in, in that area?

The growth of Austin is spreading out into other directions. Same thing is happening in the DFW, and San Antonio areas.
They will all “touch” some day. It’s crazy how fast it’s happening.
@@LivinginAustinTexas512 - That would be the ruin of Texas.
Better off if you live near Florence OR 777
