They can't do that, because his words sound way too reasonable and people would actually agree with a lot of what he says if not for the '''reporter''' throwing in loaded words like 'ultranationalist'. Whenever a 'bad' person is interviewed, the reporter needs to constantly remind the viewer that this person is 'bad'. People say things like, "the American public is so stupid, they need people to tell them exactly what to think". But they don't. They don't need that. It's done not because Americans are stupid, but because media companies exist not to report the news, but to spread ideologies. To them, there's nothing more dangerous than allowing their opposition to speak freely without their own commentary on what was said.

"Russia will be a superpower because it has always tried to be a superpower" that tells you his intelligence level.
    Edit:
What a good argument would look like: We will become super because we understand the importance of innovation and invest heavily in 5 major innovation platforms which are AI, blockchain, Energy, Robotics, and Genomics. These innovation platforms will solve big problems, help us automate, boring trivial jobs; provide efficient, cost-effective means of preventing, diagnosing, and treating diseases...

A former friend of mine (who has become an Anti-Liberal and an enthusiast for Putinist and Trumpist styles of governance) introduced me to Dugin's thought back around the time that Putin invaded & annexed Crimea. We really need to pay close attention to what Dugin says, when he says that the political model he is calling for is not "monarchist," i.e. top-down Authoritarianism; instead it's a form of popular Authoritarianism, where the people at large call for a Strongman as their Leader . This is otherwise known as Fascism. We have to understand that this is a big part of the appeal Trump has in America, that Modi has in India, that Orban has in Hungary, and of course that Putin has in Russia. The threat to democracy really comes from within. That's the exact reason why Benjamin Franklin admonished us, "a Republic, if you can keep it."

@@AstroGremlinAmerican It's a contradiction in terms to speak of a "Fascist Left." The Left can veer into their own brand of Authoritarianism, but Fascists are and always were *Conservatives.* Fascists are Anti-Liberal.
Fighting over education is inevitable in a democracy. That's not Fascism. Peaceful disagreements over how wealth is distributed is certainly not Fascist; again that's a standard part of democracy.
And every society, in all times, has fights over what speech is allowed and what speech should be prohibited. The key to capital-L Liberalism (which is not to be conflated with the Egalitarian liberalism of the Left), is that what really matters in these fights is the PROCEDURES by which they are to be adjudicated. It's Authoritarians (either the Fascists, OR the Authoritarian Left; these are never the same thing, because Fascists, as Anti-Liberals, are Conservatives) who want to shut down the process - FOR example, by stealing elections!

During that time everyone was outraged at the war crimes being committed and some of the brutality being displayed in media.
The reason I called people fools was because they were acting like fools. Now people have become more level-headed and are actually able to discuss some issues with a clearer mind.
