I was at this show..Both Chaka and Patti were tearing down the house with great vocals. Chaka closed the show & invited Patti back on stage with her. Being the thoughtful & professional that Chaka is, she doesn't try to out sing her singing partners. She graciously noded to Patti to take the wailing parts and tear it up. If you notice during other duets and groups singing, Chaka will try to blend more so than take over the song (unless there is a part where she is supposed to sing powerfully).

Well Patti is quoted as saying "there's nothing like a Chaka Khan Voice -Nothing " & "No one can sing like Chaka Khan" & She brings tears to my eyes when I hear her sing " Patti is in awe of Chaka's talent as I'm sure Chaka respects Patti's vocal abilities!!! These are what in the music are known as Singer's Singers -The singers other singers have to look up to!!!
