Hi Guys,
This is a quick video on how I achieved these lush curls on my microlocs. The only products I used was water and a tiny bit of almond oil. I absolutely loved the results. This style is great for when you want to disguise the fact that you need a retie. I wanted to get this video out quickly so I was unable to do a day by day comparison. I will do that next month about two weeks before my next appointment.

About me: My name is Tanish and I started my channel about 10 years ago with a focus on Natural Hair. I took a 5 year break from RUclips, got married and had two babies. I am a special education teacher with Los Angeles Unified School district and decided to take an extended leave of absence to stay home with my babies. I am sharing my life as I embark on this stay at home mom thing. So welcome to my craziness as I try to navigate my life with 2 kids under 2 and a husband that's always working. I hope you guys enjoy watching me become a sahm. I made a deal with my husband in which I have one year to prove to my that I can manage our household and the kids all while being an awesome wife. If I am unsuccessful then I must go back to work next year😩 Join the craziness and follow my journey.

What is the advantage that you find in micro-locs over loose hair maintenance? Do you find that your hair retains moisture better?
No detangling. No need for many products.
Time time time. Hair freedom. Everything is so much easier. Locs are very low maintenance. My hair is a bit on the drier side with locs vs when I had loose hair it was usually moisturized.
Gorgeous!! You mentioned that you dye your hair. Have you done so since you installed your locs? I am at a year and not sure if I'm good to dye. Thanks!!
I dye the front portion right before each retie. I have a video on it. It’s called my first wash with microlocs. I haven’t dyed my entire head yet.

I think it’s called the 360 spray bottle or continuous spray bottle. It’s really good.
