Nothing beats the taste of freshness. But don't carps have a lot of tiny bones inside the meat? I live in the US and we fish a lot but very few people eat the carps here because of the tiny bones. Every bite has like 3-4 bones in it so if not careful, you can swallow it and get stuck in your throat.

I mean, who doesn't like being serve by boss ya 🤷 😏 But boss drops by outlets to QC, and he is a meticulous guy so I would say no harm giving it a try if Cheras is a distance from you.
