Hi Terry, thanks to you I replaced my fuser a couple of week's ago! I thought it went well. I have the HL-L3290cdw, and I started getting a replace fuser message again yesterday. How do I clear that on this device? Brother won't help, they just tell me to take it to the shop, which is 40 miles away, and booked up. I have found instructions for clearing an mfc, but that's not what I have. TIA

Did you have any print defects on your paper , bumps, indentations? If not then you didn't need to change your fuser unit you just simply changed it due to the counter saying to change it. Reset the counter, keep using your old fuser and get on with your life.
