CK3 is so back with the Roads to Power DLC!! You can get it here: play.crusaderkings.com/Zieley Long time no see legends 😅 I really hope you enjoy this video. Let me know your plan what you guys have planned for your first game with the new DLC 😁
Mate, I have no idea what’s going on in your life and it’s none of my business but just so you know, the world is slightly sadder, paler and less interesting without regular video uploads from your channel. Stay safe.
@@DavidAndrews-eb7gm this. I started playing CK3 solely bc of this channel. Still today when starting a new game I hear his voice in my brain "never stop building...."
The little animated knight that pops up randomly in the intro is the trigger for me. I have no idea what’s going to happen next but I know it’s going to be good.
That’s a challenge most fail!!!! Conquering the world, getting free(almost) buildings, and saving disaster saves is one thing but remembering your YT password is a whole other(that’s like 100 dev, world conquest, and 500 gold per turn IN YEAR 1000 level difficulty)

I think this is basically how Macedonian dynasty was formed. Basil I being a commoner from Thrace (or whatever contested region in Byzantine-Bulgar he came from) who became an Emperor…in Crusader Kings manner.
I'd say the most noteworthy thing about the crusades is the first crusade, then the third crusade (which involved saladin, barbarossa, Baldwin, Richard the lionheart etc). THEN it's the fourth
Most fun I had in a run was starting as the Hapsburg count in 1066. He was excommunicated, imprisoned by the kaiser and burned at the stake... his son was elected Kaiser 2 years into his succession. Did EVERYTHING. Won a crusade, vassalized the pope, almost conquered historical Roman borders. Hit like age 63 or something and realized I had NO sons. 8 kids, all daughters. No one eligible for the kaisership. Adopted the seduction focus. Popped out 5 more kids... all daughters. Died of lovers pox. Lost the kaisership. During the last years of my life, most of my kids died save for my youngest daughter... she was assassinated by some distant relative. Game over.
And the wait was worth it!!!! Also might I recommend celebrating it with a collab? You could re do the bingo video with only things that have been added to ck after it!(it was like 2 years back or something so there’s probably enough)
War contribution score during crusades needs rework especially now. Before this DLC, I’d just make sure to have my troops be the first guys landing (I mean really early) and acting as vanguards. My troops would get literally wiped but this ensures my allies get to land safely. The rest of the crusades continues for victory, and even though I literally have zero troops left in the effort, my score contribution is so high I always get the lions share
You're probably one of the only content creators that I see getting a review copy and still respect because you give it an honest playthrough, no deception for the sake of the sponsorship. Nice video, always good to see you in the feed.
I am super hyped for this. The only thing that would make it better is the ability to become a baron as well. Also bro, super glad Paradox gave you the review key, you deserve it!
I'd love if they created theatres for different sections of the map. Such as just loading Europe and cutting off at Asia and the middle East with the game still processing everything happening outside of the theatre it's just not all loaded and active at the same time
Welcome back! We’ve missed you man. I’ll just say this about the DLC. It looks really fun and incredible but I’m a little disappointed in how easily it was to acquire an empire in one go. I wish it was more like berserk in a way where Griffith has to fight multiple battles with the band of the hawk to gain recognition and favor from the king before all the crazy stuff happened at the end of the golden age arc.
I think you can choose not to inherit an empire though, so there is that. I personally would not have taken the empire, as I prefer staying small in my games usually.
If I had to guess, it was probably as he said in the beginning, that the ai forgets trebuchets. I bet he was getting a lot of score from helping with sieges even if the manpower contribution wasn't high.
I think it is a bug because the choice of who is put in charge should be given to the leader not to the player. (Also I don't think he was the major contributer)
Think about it, if no one had siege weapons then he is the hero of the crusade and the one that made it posible... and also the only one who could even enter to constantinopla after not gettin paid
@@mariox204 It won't work that way. You are literally an unlanded guy. You being a hero as you said should be equal to Duchy title at best. So yeah it is kinda dumb. Why would anyone in the crusader council pick an obscure unlanded person to become an emperor
