Hey, just an idea but what i do when i want a bigger hand hold on handles like your ring bender is swapout or epoxy a golf ball to my handles. Its a nice size and they are cheap/free. They also make good "stops" on wire cable/rope upto 1/2 inch in size. Any bigger and they tend to get pulled through the stop plate or slide on the wire.
