I used to looooove that curling gel soufflé. It used to be a go-to product for me. I would get 2 full weeks of extreme moisture using it. The ONLY reason why I stopped using it was because they drastically changed the formula to where even the texture was 100% different. They only changed it back to something similar when seemingly thousands of people wrote and complained about it. By then I had already spent too much money and time finding a replacement that I actually loved more. Oh well. Their bad.

I thought of this idea a few weeks ago myself. I wanted to find non-toxic products that I can use in my low porosity 4b hair in the wintertime. It was so frustrating trying to find non-humectant moisturizers for low-porosity hair because everyone keeps saying to use humectant products. PLUS I needed products without proteins. So it was quite a predicament. Then I thought of ChatGPT and it recommended products that I have never used before that made sense. Someone (not me) needs to make a routine for those of us who need humectant-free and protein-free products for ACTUAL winter (not Atlanta winter or some southern winter. The NORTH) to moisturize hair like mine. Every time I use my regular products in winter, my hair gets soooooo dry. Listen, there is no humidity/moisture here in NH in the winter.

My holy grail is the Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie, but that gel souffle is a definite no for me... I use the smoothie and seal with Aunt Jackie's E-Blast Kids oil blend. Smells amazing and keeps my hair moisturized. Did I mention that I have bleached and colored natural hair? Love them.

My question is how come your hair is not waist length by now or at least below bra length as is so many I've watched? Most of which I don't see active anymore. My question is not to be negative at all.
Hey hun, Well my hair was bra length (a little past actually) until I cut it. My hair hasn’t reach waist length because it just simply hasn’t 🤷🏾♀️. Waist length is not attainable for everyone and that’s ok. It’s not a result of healthy hair it’s a result of someone’s growth cycle and/or genetics. My growth has gotten me to bra strap so far. Will it ever get to waist? Only God knows. Healthy hair doesn’t guarantee waist length or knee length etc. I’ve met several naturals with knee length and waist length hair but it was brittle and thin. I was convinced to not use length as a measuring stick for healthy hair. So as to why I cut my hair it’s because I noticed my ends were wether and split to the extreme. I’ve been the type of natural who didn’t keep up with trimming my ends 😩. I guess it caught up to me. So I had a reality check. So now I’m staying on top of trims and continuing with other healthy habits… we’ll see where it goes 😊. Thanks for asking in a way that was not negative.

Do you have a cosmotology license? It's not such thing as 4c hair. Porosity is what you need to know. People who imitates this hair will stay in alpha carotene.
