Vols brought 22k-ish fans down to a regular season game at LSU a couple of years ago. 15k-ish went to Oklahoma this year. They’ll show up to The Shoe, UT president said his counterpart told him they anticipate 30% Tennessee fans.
@@Zskillit The disadvantage if they got 30% is really the location and weather. If its a 70/30 split that cuts down a great deal of the impact of noise. It's going to be freezing cold. At least Vols fans won't be ripped off on hotel prices in Columbus. I see nice hotels from $100-$150 per night, unlike the $400-$500 game day prices on hotels in Knoxville.

FR, one thing i'm never worried about is our fans not showing up, hell half the stadium is usually scarlet at away games, just look at the Oregon game this year.
Okay but so the thing is the majority of the box office tickets are still Ohio state fans so it’s likely they won’t outnumber just be there in a good force
Okay but so the thing is you suck at math. ITS OF AVAILBLE TICKETS IN THE SECONDARY MARKET where UT fans DONT EVEN MAKE UP THE MAJORITY. So if there is only 15000 tickets in the secondary market then they have snapped up 42% of that number ITS NOT 42% of the Stadium. It is STUNNING how illiterate UT fans are... stunning actually
What no one is pointing out is the number of tickets resold for Ohio State doesn't matter. That's just maintaining their numbers from Ohio State fan to Ohio State fan. Every ticket sold to a Tennessee fan is a lost seat. The numbers could be 90% Ohio 10% Tennessee, and that's still a 10% Ohio State loss.
The fact that there are any tickets left out there even on the secondary market more or less that the prices are decreasing shows how much more committed the UT fan base at this moment. If this were in Knoxville where traveling just before the holiday wouldn't be an issue for UT fans there would be no secondary market after the first 2 or 3 days because every seat would have been bought and some resold but by the end of day 3 the holder would be someone who was committed to going themselves. Of course there would be a lot of Christmas gifts given early in the form of tickets as well. When its all said and done I doubt the UT fans will outnumber OSU fans but there's a solid chance that stadium will be 1/3 orange. Note: I am not saying OSU fans are always down on their team but at the moment they are still feeling the effects of their Michigan rivalry game. UT would probably be similar if they played Bama late in the season and had just got a beat down from the Tide. Having your losses mid season helps blunt the impact to the fans in the post season.
Plant the flag. Vols. Of course the resell marker is smaller than the original season ticket holder sales. So I think it's doubtful the stands will be 40% vols
There was a presale code for season ticket holders that was released by accident to everybody. There also many tickets left on secondary market sellers like Ticketmaster and they are starting at $90 which is cheap. The cheapest tickets on Ticketmaster for the Notre Dame vs Indiana game are $400 to $500.
Fake news!! News flash. There are tons of Ohio State fans living in Tennessee that are buying up tickets. Just because they might have a Tennessee address or phone number don’t assume there Tennessee fans. I also live in Tennessee and Go Bucks!!

Just a neutral commenting here, but those precentages are who is buying 2nd hand. It shouldnt be a suprise TN out numbers OH as most buckeye fans prob were able to acquire first hand. Just a thought...
If this report is correct, I 75 might be known as “The Trail of Tears” surpassing the 60K Cherokees of 1830-1850. If there is an upset, I’ll expect the Ohio cresting in Louisville Monday morning.
Guess what now? How many ppl are at the game for each team doesn’t mean a gd thing. Ohio St is gonna roll the Vols & it won’t be close. They’ve got a running back playing qb and they lost to Arkansas. That’s all I need to know about this game!
You’re either trolling or you’re really stupid. Calling nico a running back is crazy just look at stats. OSU doesn’t have what it takes to beat good sec teams, it shows every year.
This whole video and comment section is sad asf. 70k-30k was the buck to Vols ratio. And Tennessee was dog shi literally. The only way you thought Tennessee was winning this was blind hate for OSU.
That is still high for a home game. The Tennessee vs Alabama game this year in Knoxville was maybe 5% Alabama fans. The tickets on secondary sellers like Ticketmaster are cheap too. They are starting at $90 today. The cheapest i could find for the Alabama game was $450 in the upper deck.
Well let’s be honest. All those tickets going to UT fans represent about two actual families. They’re all related. You know. Sister-wife kind of situation. Hey! Nothing sucks like a big Orange (sister).
Ohio State knows they laid an egg with Michigan other than that they lost to Oregon by one point. I think TN is going to be suprised andif I were them I would tone down the shit talking. It's coming boys.... Go Bucks!😉
Lol these tickets will work like any other home game. Season ticket holders, students, alum etc get them first. Then the left overs go to general public. So of the remaining say 60k tickets. 30k are going to vold fans. Assuming these numbers are even correct. Going to be a lot of disappointed fans heading home. Your offense is trash. Average 20 points a game against .500+ teams. And now youre facing by far the best defense youll see all year. #1 in total defense and scoring. If OSU can score 20 points they win.

Let's checkerboard the Shoe!!!

@@OsuBengals yeah, it was fun while it lasted 😂
What no one is pointing out is the number of tickets resold for Ohio State doesn't matter. That's just maintaining their numbers from Ohio State fan to Ohio State fan. Every ticket sold to a Tennessee fan is a lost seat. The numbers could be 90% Ohio 10% Tennessee, and that's still a 10% Ohio State loss.
One of those guys needs five tickets, the other guy just needs one.
If I was an Ohio State fan, who cares I’d rather go in the bar and eat chicken wings, and watch it and make money on my ticket
Especially when we know our miserable December weather better.
Tennessee won the first ever bcs championship. Why wouldn't we think they will win the first 12 yeam playoffs
Because there are better teams playing.

Quarterfinal: Tennessee vs Oregon!👏🏼👏🏼
Thinking ahead already? Outrageous
We'll see what Texas and Ohio State have to say about that.
Lmfaooooooo false
It's because nobody lives in Ohio but there are O St fans across the nation.
Ohio is the 7th most populated state… that’s more the 43 other states 🤔
@elilopez9463 It was an "Ohio doesn't exist reference". Not to be taken literally.
It looks like most Tennessee fans should buy two seats😂
Let's Go!
Ticketmaster totally botched the ticket release and allowed UT fans into the presale.
I ain’t gonna lie, if I a Ohio State student I would quadruple my💰
Plant the flag. Vols. Of course the resell marker is smaller than the original season ticket holder sales. So I think it's doubtful the stands will be 40% vols
😂😂😂😂😂
Hate to tell you, TN fans can only buy half the stadium tickets, just like Michigan can't buy the entire stadium.
Not true. Ohio State fans are posting there season tickets for sale online
@DIVINECR3ATION that's different, private sales
Secondary market- season ticket holders are going to be there.
You do realize all season tickets holders already have there tickets. They didn’t have to use stub hub or other ticket resale companies.
Those are for the seat for sale! Many are not! It will be scarlet !
Hope they had fun😂😂😂

Guess what now? How many ppl are at the game for each team doesn’t mean a gd thing. Ohio St is gonna roll the Vols & it won’t be close. They’ve got a running back playing qb and they lost to Arkansas. That’s all I need to know about this game!
You’re either trolling or you’re really stupid. Calling nico a running back is crazy just look at stats. OSU doesn’t have what it takes to beat good sec teams, it shows every year.

Go Bama!

Talk about a Bias Report. It is Home Game for Ohio State. It will be 70/30 Ohio State at least..
Y'all about to find out that's for damn show
That is still high for a home game.

Go Bucks!😉
Shit on u
Can't trust Day. If he doesn't wear his lucky panties just right, he can't win.
