I binge watched a lot of your videos before my February Year 11 mocks and went from 7s in science, maths and 6s in english to 9-9 in science, 8 in english and 8 in maths! @@almaalhorani1077 mine went good I got a higher grade then expected. I reccomend looking through the specification and seeing what you aren't fully sure on and start revising early and do practice questions 🙏🙏🙏 also u don't have to force yourself revise and get over stressed about it. hope this helps ^^

i love vides like these, a paper walk through actually teaches how to approach the exam. my science teachers barely give us exam questions 😭

I have my biology p1 exam in 3 days and i cannot tell u how much of a lifesaver this video is especially as i feel very unconfident about topics like the heart and infection and response. tysm for this i definitely think my exam technique for biology was the worst b4 this video. :)

@@kishanbhatia5241 yeah, what helped me is incognito revision, it’s essentially Senaca but for science and math instead of geography

(Yr10) Because of mental health problems I stopped being in cumpulsory lessons for 5 months and recently I had a wake up call and realised that I shouldnt have done that and now Im binge watching all ur videos (since 3 weeks ago) and its been a life saver tysm!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼

@@loco5594 Hi! I thankfully recieved 9’s in both Chemistry and Biology . Currently fighting for A’s in Yr12 but i would say that using flash cards and using practice exam questions after revising or learning a new topic is definitely a must. Sola has loads of other tips to so I definitely recommend watching her videos. Hope this helps ❤️

Currently working at a grade 9… however, I’m only getting around 2-8% above the 9 in my mocks, so I’m trying to secure the 9 for the GCSEs, thanks for the advice! I think biology is my strongpoint, as I get this 9 with roughly 3 hours of studying for it, as I just understand the concepts
This is ME! I just about got a 9-9 having done quite bad in chemistry.
Biology is also my strongpoint and fave.

Physics is def my strong point. I js did pmt questions on most topics on paper 2 and secured grade 9s. Chem is a lot harder for me

@@loco5594 It was a while ago now so I can't remember exactly, but I got a 9 in my actual exam! My tip would be to use the mark scheme effectively when going back over a test, and note how the examiner marks the question, because each type of question will have a style of marking to go with it, and so once you start to recognise these then you can think about what the mark scheme is asking for here.
Also Cognito is just the best at everything!

wouldn't the line of best fit in the last question be a curve? because the points are clearly curved and typically the graph for rate of photosynthesis and temperature is a curved line not straight.

With the graph question at the end, is it possible for the line of best fit to be curved dependent on the question?
The graph question is incorrect, the line of best fit should be curved because the rate of photosynthesis first increases, then decreases

I really appreciate you for all this tips , it really does help. I wanted to ask, did you stop using social media or deleted social media apps because many say its a distraction when you're about to do your Gcse's ?
I wasn't drastic and deleted everything but when I found that I was getting really distracted in the day I would delete it temporarily and download it after I finished my work. I also used an app blocker called Forest a lot to prevent myself from going on my phone and being distracted. Hope this help!
My opinion if you have passion for something you like such as science you would want to learn more and it get easy in exams

I’m in the middle of my last set of mocks rn and I’m not gunna lie it’s not looking good. If I actually become consistent can I still get grade 7s at least. I really want to try. I don’t have problems actually understanding concepts, just actually being able to apply it to the exam questions.
hey i have a question about the graphs - when drawing a line of best fit, do you draw it straight or curved because I am always unsure of whether to draw it in a certain way or not. also love your videos they r rlly helping me to start up my revision for when year 11 comes round :)
I’ve always been taught to draw them curved with those kinds of values on a graph so I’d assume it’s meant to be curved? I think it’s only in maths where lines of best fit have to be straight. (also I’m in yr 11 and deffo have started revising way too late so I rlly recommend starting as soon as possible when you are in yr 11 aha, gl next year!!! Hope my comment helps clear up that question btw🙂)
If the question tells you to draw a line of best fit then draw it curved. If they don’t mention how to draw it then do a straight line
