You forgot to mention that Kheron Ophion only has a 3+ armour save. Meaning anyone with a power weapon is a genuine threat to him since he doesn't get a 2+ armour save.
If you're struggling to use Konrad's run mechanic, don't forget you can run him into a faster unit. For instance, deploy him next to a rhino with 10 tacticals. Have the rhino move forward 7 and have the tacticals disembark 7 (14 total). Then run Konrad into the unit. You can also run him into infiltrators you've already set up. Use the movement reaction he gives you to keep him and his unit safe from charges. Then have him join a unit of deepstrikers next turn and charge in.
Konrad is bulky(4) so he automatically outnumbers dreadnoughts. Against Contemptors, this means every wound he makes is an instant death wound. Even though Konrad may not wipe a unit of termies in a single round of combat his fear (3) will punch right through their inexorable, making sweeps quite easy, especially since he can just choose to kill the sergeant. Him being WS 8 means ws 4 termies hit him on 6's, so he doesn't need to wipe the squad with sheer attacks.
I have the prince of crows, I got him as part of the Sev's strike force back when FW sold it. One of these days I'll feel I'm good enough to paint father Curze
Call me salty but man, how come Raldoron is not one best close combat character in HH is beyond me. Back in the old lore he was mentioned with Sevetar and Sigismund has being one of the best fighter ever and that made sense has its the entire BA shtick. Now he is barely mentioned in the books and just like it's legion his somehow passable in close combat. BA should be scary close combat monster on the tabletop just like the WE has their mirror opposite.
I think that Curze exemplifies the NL mindset. He is optimized to blend GEQ and MEQ units. Putting Curze in a classic deathstar is an unproductive road to nowhere.
I guess ideally you'd want him to run around by himself (without getting shot off the table) and killing key-targets. I just hoped, he was going to be a valuable primarch-duellist, but his strenght is a bit of a letdown...
@@_the_eversor_lad_ Pretty much this. And the strength problem goes the same for Corax and Alpharius. Having a primarch struck at S6 just feels pathetic. I love my Night Lords but they just get constantly stepped on by the rules writers. All our legion specific units are overpriced or underpowered compared to other legions and Konrad feels like a weird mishmash of rules which don't coincide with his lore. Why he's one of the best army buffer primarchs is beyond me when he's famous for hating his own legion.
Macca, this is unrelated to the video, but do you think you could make a video on the Recon Company rite of war, and how to make it playable (perhaps even able to win a game or two) without spamming Nemesis bolters?

Sevatar also gets also +1 Attack with his psychic power. Making the Risk of a peril more worth

Don't dreadnoughts count as 10?
@@_the_eversor_lad_ no. Theyr'e not vehicles any more
All Hail the Lord of Night!

Ah yes, the famous unwieldy nature of... *checks notes* hatchets.
Don't forget Night vision denies shrouded saves, and Curze hands it out like candy. With ATFM you can kill tanks better than Iron Warriors.
ATFM?
Yeaaahhh best legion!
I'm having fun.. I don't care if I ever come down lol
In midnight Clad!

Tbh I don't think games workshop likes the blood angels that much anymore, 40k or 30k versions
Beside Amit and the Angel himself the whole legion has been a huge letdown in 30k lore

Those vids are coming
Ave DOMINUS Nox, my favorite traitor legion!!
Konrad with a jump pack command squad is my preferred way of running him, but S6 sucks and his psy power is meme-level trash.
