It's impossible to fight Chara in pacifist and neutral, here is why: at the end of the genocide route, Chara tells you that you gaining LV and EXP awakens here from death, Sure you do gain some EXP in the neutral route, but it isn't enough
I'm pretty sure that's not how it works. It was Frisk's determination that awoke them from death, and they got corrupted because all of the LOVE and EXP went straight to them.
I'm pretty sure If you get to lvl 18-19 at Asgore, than you can reach chara
@@beyondhaircraze4418 That's not true. If you actually fight Asgore (Not just 1-shot him), Flowey will always take his soul, and depending on if you've true reset, fight you or end the game. Also, AFAIK, you can't get an LV18 neutral route. LV17 is normally the very max. LV19 neutral is possible due to a bug though.

True Pacifist - Killing nothing and befriending everyone
Genocide - Killing all the monsters.
Neutral - Somewhere in between.
If you killed something, but not everything, it's neutral. LV18 would mean you killed all but about 1 monster, meaning it's neutral.
I chose the worst route of all....

When selecting Genocide, it plays the Pacifist Ending and Viceversa
indie games then: A child must fight their way through an underground world of monsters. should they fight their way back home, or show mercy to them and free monsterkind, because their story is much more complex than whats on the surface, and once you learn what really happened millenia ago, you have to make the choice to either go back and help resolve everyone's problems in order to get the best possible ending, or you could abandon all morals in the pursuit of power, slaying all of them until you reach the end and are judged for your sins by a vengeful character who's brother you've slain in cold blood. if you do manage to succeed, you reach an absolute, and are forced to erase the world.

Its Frisk who is actually the one choosing to do the genocide and Chara, is actually trying to punish the character, but once you do more killing you convince Chara that killing is "Okay", and again Chara is dead, so technically this poor ghost child is following you around and watching you murder everyone she loved and cared about. If you have done the whole genocide run, at the end she states "You think you are above consequences?". See what I mean?
