Check out the instructions on the paint you use. I use DecoArt. Here are instructions - Allow to cure 4 days. For a dishwasher-safe finish on oven-safe surfaces, place finished piece in a cool oven, set temperature to 325°F, bake for 30 minutes, then cool with oven door partially open. Not for direct contact with food.
I love this simple design. Going to do this for Christmas presents this year. I was wondering why you don't work from top to bottom and left to right to avoid getting your hand or arm in your work?
Hi, I just painted this tree and I love it. Thank you for the tutorial. Any suggestions on how to clean the glass and tree etc. I’m sure it will get finger prints on it in the future.
If you used paint that can be cured in the oven and the glass can be removed you could bake the glass and easily clean. Otherwise, take care, you could try a lightly damp cloth. Caution: if you did not use the Gloss Enamels or a good Multi-surface you could disturb the paint. I’m so glad you enjoyed the tutorial.
