That was my thought too. It sounds like some kind of pitch-shifting artefact amplified by how the distortion affects the played note differently to the shifted note. The other stuff sounded okay. Not amazing, but okay.
They kinda glossed over the amp models, delay, reverb etc. but it kinda seems like this thing fills the role of like an hx Stomp but with capabilities unique to Boss, which is what they were highlighting. Correct? If so, that’s pretty cool and very reasonably priced.
The different tunings is awesome, but otherwise the sound just can't compete with what it tries to emulate imo, so for my recording purposes it's a no.$699. is very reasonable. I hope they keep making these better. Boss is a phenomenal company.
I’m lot talking about what cable it uses ,I’m talking functions ,it has instrument modeling like the sy1000 ,1 layer of synths (sy1000 has 3) ,some guitar modeling like sy1000 and what more ?
They're always so hesitant to give the price away, but that should be a primary talking point, because that's all we want to know, at the end of the day.
He really hit em with the Americ anFootball
that 12 string sounded painful
Nah , it was distorted on purpose of course . The sound was quite good IMO

@@hakonsoreideCloser To The Heart by Rush would have another octave up
I agree, it was desperate
Nice. Would like to check the DigiTech booth as well
Does it do alternate tunings without the pickup?

Never Meant! That riff is good
Can you still palm mute?
Basically it’s a stripped down sy1000?
The GM 800 combined with a VG800 is an SY1000, minus the ability to change patches or volume with a knob.
No. It's highlighting the new serial GK that replaces 13-pin. It's a big change (I own the new GK).

$649 at Sweetwater w/o the pickup or cable. Pickup and cable are $300
🧡
Not a fan of guitars, but the pedal sounds great!
Roland /Boss : Really running short of ideas. Another product which is a complete bullshit..
same old wine in new bottle!!!
A separate pickup I’d have to install just to change tuning with this pedal? Nah, I’m good, I’ll stick with the drop tune.
Let’s just forget…
Where my emo folk?
