  • This is the second stone from my first and only parcel from ADOpals. This was also the first parcel I purchased at Opal Auctions. (Yes, I would buy from ADOpals again). This stone is 3.65 carats in weight and is 16 x 14.3 x 3.9 mm in size. I believe it is from Lightning Ridge, Australia.
What happens to this beautiful piece of rough? Was it worth it? Join me and let's find out, together!

Good work mate, I have to compliment you on the shine! I cannot see a defect. For those who do not know, buffing out a spot can be a menace!

Given how thin it was I could have tried to smooth that spot out. But the nylon rotary brush might just do it without a fuss.
