    Since the camper is essentially an uninsulated metal box, how well is the little fireplace able to keep the camper warm? Hoping you'll say that it'll cook you out of the camper.

      I actually added some bedrug on the windoors and backdoor to help with insulation. That being said we usually have the heater on low and that keeps it nice and warm inside. And if you are up in the bed area it is a lot warmer since the hot air rises up there. I believe the fireplace is designed to warm up a bigger space than the camper so it works great.

    Question? Have you used the Dickinson Newport at altitude? Dickinson states the stove is designed to be used at sea level, duh, and will not function properly at altitude. Thanks

      So this trip was the highest we have been with the heater. I just looked it up and it says its at 2050 ft above sea level.

    Awesome rig!! Thanks for sharing!! Some questions: can the exterior propane tank mount hold the regular 20 lb tank size? Is opening/closing the door with spare tire, etc on it, difficult from the inside? Happy trails!

    • @MarshmallowAdv
      @MarshmallowAdv  2 года назад

      Thanks! The tank mount can't hold the regular bigger tank but they do make an accessory that allows to mount a smaller one lol. Closing the door from the inside take some effort but its not too bad.

    Fun times! Where do you have your house batt? Also what water pump are you using?

    • @MarshmallowAdv
      @MarshmallowAdv  9 месяцев назад +1

      I have an Off Grid Engineering Dual Side by Side kit for my batteries under the hood. The water pump I am using is made by Proforce Adventures. I'm not sure they are available anymore.

      @@MarshmallowAdv Thank you! I’m planning my Alucab build while the canopy camper is on order. How’s the power on the Sunflare? Are they glued to the roof?

    looks like you do some good wheeling, how does the alucab hold up. whats the weight shifting like?
    would you change any suspension to better accommodate the camper?

    • @MarshmallowAdv
      @MarshmallowAdv  11 месяцев назад

      I definitely upgrade the suspension with the alucab. The Goose Gear Drawer System is pretty heavy as well. I have Deaver Stage 3 Heavy Duty leaf springs to help with the extra weight. I don’t do any crazy wheeling so the weight shifting isn’t too bad. The Camper has held up great!
