Hello, this is the perfekt lesson to learn negativ painting.Looks beautiful. Thanks a lot 🙏 and stay well.🥰💚☘️
This is the best tutorial on watercolor negative space. Your art is beautiful! Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge!
It was amazing job thank u❤
Loved this! I am learning to negative paint and one of my favorite subjects to draw, paint, or whatever medium, are rocks. Now I have a new way of doing them! Win, win, win! Thanks so much!
Lovely tutorial. Not new to painting, but new to watercolor, I enjoyed this.
Thank you very much.🤗 I learned a lot new features here. I love negative painting, but I can paint in this way. Now is so much "clear" for me 😊 and I understand the technique. I will try it out now too.
Your painting is so beautiful. I love it.
Greetings from Germany.
Have a nice day.
I love it. It's absolutely gorgeous and your step-by-step detailed instructions were wonderful.
Very helpful, Thank you! I will be give this one a try.
Excellent tutorial. I believe I can do this now as I would always get confused on my second-third-fourth drawings and the repeating of your different values at each step. Also putting the shadows on each object I never really understood before. You show that you always follow your direction of your light and then stay consistent with that direction until the final layering you put shadows on all the sides to make it look further back. In my mind I would get confused thinking lighter areas means further in the distance and darks are in the foreground. It is the opposite rule for negative painting I realize now. Your step by step process really helps me to understand negative painting better. Now let's see if I can follow through with it...lol. Keep making tutorials as your wonderful at explaining. God bless and have a beautiful day.
I can't wait to give this a try! Thank you for sharing this technique.

love negative painting so much, this was very good instruction on how to accomplish it. Looking forward to giving a try. Maybe with sea glass as a subject, I have tons of it. Again, thanks for the great instuction. I may be a fan of Payne Gray blue now.

This is a great negative space tutorial ! I’m really looking forward to doing it!
……well I did your tutorial…it doesn’t look as good as yours but then I’m a beginner and didn’t expect it to..also I thought I had a good watercolor journal but apparently it’s not so good…I almost couldn’t get the paint to bloom!
Awesome
Nicely done
love it !!!! thanks !!!!
So glad you liked it. Thank you for watching 😊
Can't wait to try this out :) perfect amount of detail in the tutorial. What kind of masking tape do u use? So far I find the cheap tape tears less than frog tape..
Payne’s grey is my favourite pencil colour also 😂 love it
Rhio Illustrates it’s such a great colour isn’t it 😊💗💗💗
👍👌😍✌️
Patty- I really loved the process. The outcome was great. Would it work the same way if I used granulating paint on the pebbles?
how do you get such a uniform wash on each layer. when i colour around the object, it dries by the time i get to the larger areas. is it experience and practice? I'll start practicing more before i do a piece. but if you have any advice or if I'm making it more difficult than it is, pls lemme know. ty
Will I just add some simple color washes to give the rocks some color?
Hi! Neat work!!
I tried but my washes especially darker ones are not smooth like yours.
Can you guide me please?
What tape do you use?
Must you use hot press paper? Can I use cold press instead?
You most certainly can use cold pressed!
@@EmmaTildesley Thanks, I already did and it worked just fine. Not as beautiful as yours, of course, but not too bad.
