What made this win so beautiful to me was that it was as if the Argentinian national team wanted to show Messi that he can pas the torch to them now. He has raised them well, and he doesn't need to lead them anymore. His job is done, and now he can sit and enjoy the fruits of his labor.

Football is not a show. No hyper-excited MC's screaming over the loudspeakers to arouse the crowd. No half time shows. You don't go to the football stadium to have fun, you go to suffer and support your team tribally! The celebration starts after the game is over and you won. It undermines the Copa America’s reputation, and it is self-inflicted. When Alexi started talking about the half time show I thought he was going to bring up the length of the break. It is generally agreed upon that half time should be no more than 15 minutes as players begin to heal and cool down after 15 min. of rest. You risk player injury with anything over 15 min. That is why we saw suspensions for multiple coaches who failed to return their teams to the field on a timely matter. That being said, I don't understand why COMOBOL would allow a 25 min half time show during the most important game of the tournament. The backup dancers are also important 😁

american security had no idea how to handle a football match of this magnitude. It's not the same that a superbowl, completely different story, and they deny conmebol the possibility of a security ring which every football match in south america has and erradicates all this problems they had. But they think they are better than us so they didn't listen to the south americans. Very simple story, it's an ego story, you should listen to the south americans when you are organizing a south american tournament they have the experience you need. Asking the people to just behave good or hitting them with sticks, it's not how you handle any security in any stadium that is just ridiculous. Organizing before hand is how you do it. America has lost his humility they think they know better than everybody.

The fact that you took time to analyze the half-time show in detail tells me all I need to know about you: you know nothing about football. Any football fan will tell you there being a half-time show at all was a disgrace. Especially considering it went over the 15 minutes allotted to the half-time break. This is football, not some stupid superbowl where the spectacle is more important than the actual game. I turned my TV off once the first half was done and only turned it back on when I knew the second half was about to start.

If the USA organizes the World Cup like this with these horrible fields that are useless to play on + how insecure the country is, it will end badly. And what about putting on a show at halftime?
