I love the way your braid out turned out! My locs are still short so I’m sure it won’t look exactly like this, but I am going to finally try a twist out or braid out (still trying to decide)
Sis, my locs are your size but I’m only 2 years in . I was worried that as it grew longer it would possibly snap. Yours is flourishing though 😍 so now I have hope.
I went through the same exact phase around the same time! Don't worry :))) I just maintained mine, oiled it. My biggest enemy was the stressful styles I'd put my locs in. Rooting for you
@@NubiaHere Thank you for responding. That first year I did the stressful styles & the semi permanent vegan (jet black) hair dyes 🤦🏽♀️ so I’m sure it strained my strands. This second year tho I’ve been on it. Maintaining, no more stressful styles, oil, vitamins and a healthy diet. So far, so good but only time will tell. Thanks for encouraging me. ❤️
@@JenarraTreadwell No problem!! I need to get with you on the vitamin wave. I take some daily ones but feel like I can do better. Thank you for watching btw

Dang sorry about the crown of your hair ☹️. Btw I do this method to achieve curls too. I also like the ‘loose curls’ so I twist my locs to achieve that 🤍
Your locks are beautiful. They are about the same size as mines. I'm just going in my 2 nd year. But your locs are so even, did you cut them to even them out? Mines seems to grow in layers!! Love the crinkles, I'll be trying this on my locs!!
Yes!! Prior to cutting them they were to the bottom of my back but I got them cut evenly tbh I MISS the layers. My hair is about that length now so I might try layers soon
don't say that :// trust me, the grass isn't always greener. I definitely wish my locs were just a little thicker because some of my roots are thin regardless of how well I am taking care of my hair now. To the point, I've combined quite a few. I definitely love my hair but I also I LOVE thick locs though.
North, south, east, and west. Im not sure if thats what you're asking but i interlock from all angles so i don't get that awkward space in my new growth.
I usually use no less than 6. If I were to use three, the curls would come out with more of a two strand twist consistency. I assume our locs are similar. I would as little as 6 but at most, 20.
I air dryed for about a day and a half (for smaller braids) and two for bigger ones. But with a dryer, 24 hours works (if you sit under the dryer for at least 2-3 hours total)

Noooo don’t be like dat. sometimes I wish mine were thicker. So there’s pros and cons. What’s your ig? Or social media?

Ooooh thank you boo ❤️🥺
You have micro locs
You think so??? Are those bigger than sister locks??? I be confused 😕
@@NubiaHere yes bigger than sister locs but smaller than traditional locs
I love your hair!!! How did you start your locs?
thank you! I used two strand twists to start mine.
Please girl you did not say cousin locs. I’m dying😭😭😂😂
i wish my locs were thinner now

What point rotation do you interlock with?
North, south, east, and west. Im not sure if thats what you're asking but i interlock from all angles so i don't get that awkward space in my new growth.
how many locs did you use for each braid? i usually do three per braid but your braid out result looks different from mine . looks nice!
I usually use no less than 6. If I were to use three, the curls would come out with more of a two strand twist consistency. I assume our locs are similar. I would as little as 6 but at most, 20.
I can see where u was going with the microwave 😂the meal in the microwave yuuu
No these are thin but they are not sister locks
How long did you keep them in for
Two days. I didn’t use any heat to dry, my locs are also longer.
@@NubiaHere oh ok, thank you!!! I like the results!!❤❤
So u keep them in for like 2 days? Likke How long?
The smaller the braids the less time. I kept mine in for 36 hours
How long u wait
it depends on the thickness of your locs, but you can never go wrong with waiting 48 hours!
You can also do this without the products.
Aside from the video how tall are you??
5’7 and a half 😂👀
@@NubiaHere awwww im 5' 10 and a half
Lol ur funny can i pay u to make me laugh 😜
Now why would you ask that 😂😂😂
@@NubiaHere 😂😂😂 hmu with yo social
Is this a math class?
Yes, homework due every Saturday
how long did you keep the braids in?
I air dryed for about a day and a half (for smaller braids) and two for bigger ones. But with a dryer, 24 hours works (if you sit under the dryer for at least 2-3 hours total)
How do you wash yourself with nails like that 😂
I use my spare hand
