I’m only 6 months older than you. I’ve embraced the Xennial label since I first heard it about 7-8 years ago. Hybrid 80s/90s kids, and our entire teens in the 90s. And thankfully dodging the social media bullet while we were still in school. It really was an incredible time to grow up.
Just found this term Xennial last year! Totally fits because I am part Gen X & Millenial lol Saw both sides living in early 80s. Had that phone too 😊 You just described me and my childhood 😂
Born in late 1976... I remember thinking when I hit 40 that 40 years before I was born it was pre WW2 1936 (!!) 40 years before that was 1896 (!!!🐎🤯). Time and history move way faster than we like to think!
My first cellphone was in junior year in high school I grew up in the Philippines. We had internet at home when I was freshman in college. I loved MTV because all the music videos were there lol 😂 but I think Xennials had the best of both worlds from analog to digital
The three amigos , I must have watched this movie like 115 times between 10-12 ,i was playing the scenes in my head at night when i could not sleep, i was born at the tail of the year 1980.
I'm 32 but I consider myself a Xennial my mom was born in 1969 and my biological father 1967 my grandfather was Silent Generation 1933. I can relate too everything you said in you're video man it's so strange how everything has changed.
Fellow 1980 baby here. For me, it was trying to get ANY time on the phone as a teen as I was the oldest of 6 kids and the only girl among brothers and a dad that were all avid gamers (like PC gamers). My parents refused to get a second phone line for the computer so essentially no one could ever call our house. Or if I wanted to make a call I'd just pick up the phone and disconnect their game. Yeah, I was a mean big sister like that.
Growing up I liked the Naked Gun and Police Academy films because my dad liked renting them from the video rental store.
I am at the other end of the xennials (40.5) and can totally relate to these memories. Stay strong. Peace. God bless.

Honestly I think the Xennial Generation had the best childhood
I can relate to this. 1980 checking in. T-minus 5 weeks until 40 for me.
