Why do they sound like a jet plane when they get level with the camera? Like a jet plane going past. I'm guessing it's the doppler effect but then not all trucks seem to do it.
what gear do u start off in? I'm driving a 89 r model mack with mack 350 and a t 2090 mack 9 speed. I think it has 4:44 rears and heavy duty camel back suspension and double frame thanks to my old driver worping the original frame rail in front of fifth wheel. he backed a loaded log trailer in his driveway and flipped trailer but didn't flip the ole mack. just twisted it. and made me spend all kind of cash fixing it and tons of time and cash . hands down one of the toughest log trucks I've ever driven. one of my drivers named it Skippy because even with a burned up almost disenegrated piston which made for a hell of a skip still ran. rebuild it for low low price and still running every day hauling 80 to a 100,000 pounds of logs
he went off the dirt and was a milimeter away from crashing into a tree. If it activated the brakes in a very late timing, it might have crashed into the tree.
Someone help me out explain all those truck pull events. Im thinking since all the trucks able to pull the load from dead stop, isn't will be easier continue pulling because everything are moving/in motion? Why all the trucks can't pull any more
Kawaii Ninja the weight you see on the sled goes all the way forward, making the entire body and plow front dig to the ground. (The weight aint light either)
Fucking hell I swear to god someone needs to show that sled operator how to run that sled. I can have everyone of them stopped by 200 foot. 30 foot of chain pan dropped on the ground by 80 feet grouser bars 6 inches in the ground box fully loaded and topped out by 80 feet. We will see what happens. I love pulling but this class is out of hand.
Sled malfunctioned for the last truck. Compare the weight box, and how far forward it is, between the last truck and the black Kenworth that starts at 1:22. The box is farther forward for the KW than the COE Freightliner.

No, it's clearly not all the way forward, it's 2-3 feet behind the bump stop at the front. All the others were at the stop.
It looks like it actually bounced off the bump stop cause it was bouncing so much from the speed.
