Hoping to be able to experience this place soon! Denmark is the nicest country I've visited so far so any excuse to return that has rollercoasters and great theming is an easy sell 😁
Agreed with all the points you made. It's a very cool park with a unique feel for theming. This park probably has the friendliest staff I have ever ran into at a park. Would be great to see a woodie be build here or a dark ride, as you suggested.
Very endearing and charming review. It complements the episode of Coastin' Thru Europe about it so well. Both videos transmit the great day you had. Thanks for sharing!
@@CoasterStudios Just checked it, its going into the Dinosaur land, its getting the name "SpinOsaurus". In the renderings you can see theming elements that make it look like the ride is going over a dinosaur skeleton. Alongside it they're adding a motorbike swing ride called Motorbike Derby and retheming their Teacups, renaming it Fossilvaskeren. Aka The Fossil Washer.
@@CoasterStudios Along with 2 other rides (one beeing a relocation within the park) it will expand the Dinosourland (where the Mack Powered Coaster is). So it will be themed to dinosaurs :) (to be more specific: according to the artworks it will feature artificial skeletons from dinosaurs, I'm curious how it will turn out in real.)
@@drdewott9154 i've been seeing you in every comment section with danish theme parks. How do you know this much about the danish theme parks? And maybe sometime we could meet up because i have no friends with interest in theme parks
@@mikkellovesairtime Well I've been a theme park enthusiast for a while. But the budget is rather low and I've also been very busy as of lately with jobs and other hobbies
I Will say your right it is a really good park to go to and at some point my Whole family Bought season cards every year for like 10 year’s and you will never get bored over there 10/10
Djurs Sommerland is probably the best modern theme park in Denmark. Tivoli and Bakken is just as much a piece of history. We also have Bon Bon land which used to be the best(at least inmy mind) but it hasn't kept up as well and is quite sad now Fårup Sommerland and Legoland are probably number 2 and 3
true this park is amazing i love it so much and a sesen pass is oney 100 bucks. Evey 2 years there is a new big ride and evey year there is somefing new
My home park is Michigan's Adventure I have been there twice I loved it but I also understand why it doesn't get new coasters because the people of Detroit go to cedar point and if Michigan's Adventure got a new coaster it would take Cedar Points guests away...
They did go to Liseberg in 2018 but before Valkyria opened. They returned to Sweden this fall but skipped out on Liseberg, going to Tusenfryd, Linnanmaki, Gröna Lund, and Kolmården instead. You should be able to find some pictures from that trip on their instagram pages
Do you guys ever go places other than theme parks? You should check out Electric Forest sometime. I really think you'd like it. It's honestly an incredible and life changing experience. I especially think Sarah would love it
The reason up charge attractions exist is because of capacity issues. Could you imagine the line for a cannonball or skyswing or free boat ride if it was free at cedar point? Not enough guests would be able to ride per day to make the attraction worth while for the park. Operation costs get paid for and possible makes a little money which then makes it more viable for a park to want it. If they didn't charge for it they would never purchase it because it wouldn't be worth the running costs for how many guests would actually be able to ride
Nah not in most cases. Heck many smaller and mid sized parks could so easily do just fine and not have capacity issues or money issues if they didn't upcharge for some experiences. Heck these European parks prove it.
When it comes to amusement parks, it looks like Denmark has more to offer than just Tivoli Gardens.
Definitely the best of the sommerland parks IMO. Every coaster there is solid fun. Excellent well rounded lineup
A draw with Fårup Sommerland
@@Jacob-Simonsen also cant decide, if djurs or farup wins, both absolute top tier..
Every single one of the attractions here is so well themed, even Disney doesn't have that with all their stuff.

Great review of a truly amazing park! The park could use woodie, and some inversions, but hey, thats nitpicking! :D

i have been there 100 times mostly because i live 15km away and it still amazes me every time
Looks like a good park to chill and have fun
Can't wait for your Energylandia and Disney Studios Paris reviews
Thank you for rewiewing my home park. In 2023 djurs is getting a zamperly disk-o-coaster which is something cool to check out in the future
Cool! Where in the park is it going out of curiosity? Theme?

That's indeed a very nice park with awesome staff! Wonder why you didn't mention DrageKongen when listing all the roller coasters around min 2:30.
Such a beautiful park😮
I’m glad you appreciated this wonderful park.

Piraten must be so much better than Kawasemi, especially because it actually gets trains that are more than 1 cart full throughout the day.
Also it isn’t in Japan lol
