It makes me angry that this video has less than 1000 views as of today. Your channel is awesome and your videos are fantastic and they deserve to be seen by more people! I swear to you Misha if I had any friends I'd tell them about your channel.
Thank you much for watching. Not going to lie, i do wish more people viewed these videos on classic military bolt actions. They always get far fewer views than the videos on modern guns. We publish these as a labor of love more than anything else. I've had a think for milsurp C&R firearms for 2 decades, and in more recent years Jay has started to get into them a bit more himself. He just got a Springfield M1903 and it will be interesting to see how he enjoys shooting it. Myself? I find the '03 a blast to fire. It has recoil but the fun kind. The Carcano on the otherhand is a kitten and could shoot one all day.
Great video Mishaco! I have a very nice Carcano Carbine in 8 mm and very little information is out there on this type. It is a Troop Special, marked RE Terni and dated 1941. It takes a standard bayonet and has an extra reinforcing recoil bolt behind the trigger area. Also, no 8mm Carcano clips can be found anywhere except for hearsay. It appears arsenal made and shoots well and is accurate. Keep up the good work and I always enjoy your presentations!
Hmmm none that comes to mind immediately. About the smallest that a military issued was 20 rounds, except for a few nations that issued 5 or 10 rounders for grenade launching. Those though were usually blocked so they could only take blank cartridges and not live ammo with full bullets. Also, Finland made some 15 rd mags for the Valmet in 5.56mm but i think those were for the commercial market and not any military contract.
Boy, what a state we must have come to if i am considered a professional/expert now? lol I am all the time still learning and still making mistakes, trust me, cheers.
ordered a m91/24 TS and m91 TS. Thank you for the info! The first thing I thought of was m91/59 Mosin when you said it was the only carbine with the long sight. Not sure of any others though!
@@alecbowman4127 I'm looking at the same but I'm more of a collector than a shooter so I'm in no rush. Once I get them in and clean them up I'll look at getting some.
Privi also has 139grn FMJBt. I’m aware I’m gonna have to use shorter lighter bullets due to the barrel being cut back in the day. But I really wanna get some 120grn cast bullets in .268-.269
@@alecbowman4127 that's why I ended up getting a m91 TS as well. I got the 91/24 but realized after the original model was available from another place. Oh well. Now I have both examples coming my way.
Just ordered a carcano ts/24 with lifetime warranty, literally replacement parts for as long as I own it! and all for less than $275 out the door! yesss!
I can attest to the fact that the 91/24 is indeed woefully inaccurate.(Picked up mine for a little over $100 in beat to hell condition at a gun show. Character right :)...) Still, it's a neat piece of history and 6.5x52 is a fun cartridge to shoot. Keep up the great work!
With the flood of Carcano ‘s that just came into the country, this is great info to have when picking one up. Well done.

I came for the cats. Stayed for the gats.
Its youtube, gotta have cats right?
It was just the opposite for me, I found this video looking for the Carcanos, and I stayed for the Mausers, er I mean Mousers! :D
Thank you for not having a cheesy, self indulgent intro. Excellent presentation and information.
im a gun nut but i learn SO MUCH from your videos, thank you for sharing your passion for history and firearms with us!!

Great to see my country's rifle here! Thank you misha!
cheers
That Carbine is in nice condition.
I just picked up a 91 TS from Palmetto State Armory, other than it was realty-really grungy - it is fantastic shape. The bore is great as well!
Awsome vids as always.if this question finds you has there ever been a military ak issued with a 16 round Mag? Thank you for your time?

@@dakotamyrick I'm hoping to use the 91/24 as a brush gun. A 120ish grain bullet load, possibly with H4895 and a standard large rifle primer.
Why did I jump when it went click??
🤣.
Good video.
