I've thought about the thief on the cross' statement to the Lord all of last year and came to the conclusion that he believed Jesus was who he said he was and that he accepted it. The Lord knew this. So, him saying Lord remember me = Lord I believe you are who you say you are, and I accept it.

the way Paul was saved on the road to damascus is the same way we are all saved ,his was extreme to show how the election of our sovereign God works ,and I think its noteworthy to realize Paul was the apostle to us gentiles,and just like the thief who at first ridiculed Jesus before he believed Paul hated Jesus until the Holy Spirit touched him and caused Paul to believe,we love Him because He first loved us,He chose us from before the foundations of the world.
As someone who grew up a "Thief" my heart has always been pure and always thought about people before myself. Giving when i had nothing is what made me FIRST steal, No matter what i stole i knew it was wrong and longed for a way to stop and be happy.

I have also questioned when people say they were saved at such a young age or when people testify that they saw so-and-so get saved at such a young age. This is not something to be taken so lightly. I like that Pastor Lawson says that he often prays for the Lord to remember him when He goes into His kingdom. I think I’ll start doing that too, as I also pray For the Lord to be merciful upon me, a sinner.

Hello Pastor Lawson, please preach more on confession. Will God forgive you if you don’t confess to others? Is it possible to be a saved Christian but die in unconfessed sin (to others) and go to hell? If that is so then maybe you never actually knew Jesus because you were too prideful? I have so many questions about this.
Confess and repent of your failings, shortcomings, and sins to God. It can be good the Bible teaches to let another born-again believer know of your struggles with sin. But this is NOT confession as the Catholics would suggest as to a priest. Jesus Christ is our high priest and God. Tell Him of your sins and ask for His continued forgiveness and cleansing. Please read the Book of 1st John in the Holy Bible. I will pray for you
My wife brought me a bible, she had my name engrafted on it, the first book i read in the bible, job, I thought that's an interesting name, God ask satan where have you been, satan says, on the earth walking up and down on it, that scared me, I woke up, I looked up, and asked for Gods forgiveness and His protection from Satan, that day was in February 9th 2000, Jesus Christ became my Savior. It sounds as if he's saying that repentance and being converted was only for the Jews up to Acts 3:19. Paul preached repentance and to turn from wickedness to the Gentiles: Acts 20:21 KJV [21] testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. The the thief on the cross is for people on their dying bed, deserving punishment and repenting and believing on their way out. He also leaves out Zacheeus who was going to repay all that he stole because of the Lord, Jesus said salvation has come to this house. People experience Salvation in some ways different than others.
I am really struggling with my faith. Although I love Pastor Lawson and his church, I'm struggling to accept that God is good and just. I have examples and reasons for this and never get straightforward, honest answers. It's like I'm asking a politician a question. The thief on the cross was a Christian a baptised Christian . Look at what he says to Jesus . He knew Jesus as his Lord and he knew about his kingdom .
He's been there in most of the videos I've watched. I think it's a southern thing. He could be a little quieter, but Pastor doesn't seen to care. There are even some days he welcomes feedback from congregants about what he's preaching about. I like it, but yeah, this guy could be a tad quieter. A lesson in patience.

Some Pentecostal churchs won't even preach the gospels, because they think it was only for the Jews.. It's a heircy.. Every word of God is for all people to learn and become converted. Hello Pastor Lawson, please preach more on confession. Will God forgive you if you don’t confess to others? Is it possible to be a saved Christian but die in unconfessed sin (to others) and go to hell? If that is so then maybe you never actually knew Jesus because you were too prideful? I have so many questions about this.
We don’t confess sins to others only God but our faults yes
Confess and repent of your failings, shortcomings, and sins to God. It can be good the Bible teaches to let another born-again believer know of your struggles with sin. But this is NOT confession as the Catholics would suggest as to a priest. Jesus Christ is our high priest and God. Tell Him of your sins and ask for His continued forgiveness and cleansing. Please read the Book of 1st John in the Holy Bible. I will pray for you
Salvation cannot be lost or forfeited for ANY REASON. A believer is sealed with the Holy Spirit.
My wife brought me a bible, she had my name engrafted on it, the first book i read in the bible, job, I thought that's an interesting name, God ask satan where have you been, satan says, on the earth walking up and down on it, that scared me, I woke up, I looked up, and asked for Gods forgiveness and His protection from Satan, that day was in February 9th 2000, Jesus Christ became my Savior. It sounds as if he's saying that repentance and being converted was only for the Jews up to Acts 3:19.
Paul preached repentance and to turn from wickedness to the Gentiles:
Acts 20:21 KJV
[21] testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
The the thief on the cross is for people on their dying bed, deserving punishment and repenting and believing on their way out. He also leaves out Zacheeus who was going to repay all that he stole because of the Lord, Jesus said salvation has come to this house.
People experience Salvation in some ways different than others.
The first Thief said "If you are the Son of God" he did not believe, the second thief said " remember me when you come into your Kingdom" He believed.
I am really struggling with my faith. Although I love Pastor Lawson and his church, I'm struggling to accept that God is good and just. I have examples and reasons for this and never get straightforward, honest answers. It's like I'm asking a politician a question. I'm afraid of death and hell and have prayed for God to give me an answer or peace with this issue. Please pray for me. Thank you and God bless you

He's been there in most of the videos I've watched. I think it's a southern thing. He could be a little quieter, but Pastor doesn't seen to care. There are even some days he welcomes feedback from congregants about what he's preaching about. I like it, but yeah, this guy could be a tad quieter. A lesson in patience.
