I was in a recording studio late at night practicing by myself ( I was a drummer in a Blues band) and heard a band next door play this class music. I'm happy to have been blessed to watch dime bag live in Hartford ct at the war of the gargantuan bands... deftones was the opener when they were just getting going, followed by white zombie, and none other than pantera... dime was a great person and will always be a legend! Always think of dime when i hear "thank you" by vinnie and hell yeah... RIP brother dime.. you are greatly missed by many!

Never met him or saw him live despite having the opportunity to.
Dime is the most influential musician for me personally. I listen to Pantera most days, a bit of damageplan and I need lots of motivation to fight my disability which is extremely painful and metal music really helps.
More than that was the absolutely LEGENDARY stories of being nice to everyone - I can be grumpy and moody because of my spine issue but some is one big inspiration to be humble, be cool, be friendly and to keep smiling and have fun.

Imagine the riffs that he would have written had he not been taken at such a young age. Us metalheads were robbed by some sick as psycho. RIP Dime.

I had the pleasure of running in to the guy a few times. He is hands down one of the nicest guys you'd ever meet. Sad he's not with us any longer.

I was a teenager in the 90s, I was fortunate enough to have gotten to see pantera at ozzfest, they truly were the best live band I have ever seen. Even better than slipknot live,...rock on.

Oh my gosh - watching this and knowing 💎Darrell back then - and being around Vinnie for years - seeing this now -they look so much a like in this video -
I was thinking the same thing
(Yet never really thought about that after 2004)
2 extremely positive kind hearted amazing people to me

Total fn bad assery. I've had the honor of meeting Pantera once and took shots with Dimebag on 2 other occasions. My cousin was one of
Pantera's promoters after the Moscow event.
