This made me smile. First ever metal band that I got into. I was in a recording studio late at night practicing by myself ( I was a drummer in a Blues band) and heard a band next door play this class music. So I knocked on the door and asked them if I could sit in and listen, it turned out the song was Domination. So a few shots of poitin later I was sent on my way with Cowboys From Hell & Vulgar Display Of Power. Magic Night!

Never met him or saw him live despite having the opportunity to. Dime is the most influential musician for me personally. I listen to Pantera most days, a bit of damageplan and I need lots of motivation to fight my disability which is extremely painful and metal music really helps. More than that was the absolutely LEGENDARY stories of being nice to everyone - I can be grumpy and moody because of my spine issue but some is one big inspiration to be humble, be cool, be friendly and to keep smiling and have fun.
