LIZ CALLAWAY:
Liz Callaway is a Tony nominee and Emmy Award-winning actress, singer and recording artist. She made her Broadway debut in Stephen Sondheim’s Merrily We Roll Along, received a Tony Award nomination for her performance in Baby, and for five years, won acclaim as Grizabella in Cats. She has also starred in the original casts of Miss Saigon, The Three Musketeers, and The Look of Love.
As an American singer and actress, she is best known for having provided the singing voices of many female characters in animated films, such as Anya/Anastasia in Anastasia, Odette in The Swan Princess, Jasmine in the Aladdin sequels The Return of Jafar and Aladdin and the King of Thieves, adult Kiara in The Lion King II: Simba's Pride, and a dancing napkin ring in Beauty and Beast. She was also the original Ellen in the Broadway production of Miss Saigon.

CHRISTY ALTOMARE:
Christine "Christy" Altomare is an American actress and singer-songwriter. She has played the role of Wendla in the first national tour of the rock musical Spring Awakening, played Sue Snell in the off-Broadway revival of Carrie, and made her Broadway debut as Sophie in Mamma Mia!. She is currently originating the titular role in the Broadway premiere of Anastasia, earning favorable reviews.
Altomare began writing songs at the age of twelve. She has three independent CDs: Not Yet Over You (2000), Waiting For You (2007), and an EP entitled After You (2008). When she was sixteen, she signed with her current manager, Edie Robb. She looks to Jewel and Joni Mitchell as her biggest influences.
In 2008, Altomare joined the first national touring cast of the hit Broadway musical Spring Awakening in the lead role of Wendla, beginning previews on August 15, 2008 in San Diego. She traveled to 44 different cities and gave over 600 performances. She stayed with the tour until its final performance on May 23, 2010. Altomare received positive reviews throughout the tour.
Following the Spring Awakening tour, Altomare appeared as Sue Snell in MCC Theater's limited engagement run of the Off-Broadway revival of Carrie at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.
On June 4, 2012, Altomare made her Broadway debut in Mamma Mia! at the Winter Garden Theatre, where she replaced Liana Hunt resuming the role of Sophie Sheridan. She stayed with the Broadway company for a year, ending her contract on June 1, 2013.
On March 9, 2016, it was announced that Altomare will be starring in the World Premiere of the musical adaptation of the 1997 animated film Anastasia in the title role (nicknamed Anya). The show ran from May 13 - June 19, 2016 at Hartford Stage in Connecticut. Altomare received critical acclaim for her performance, winning the Connecticut Critics Circle Award. She is currently reprising the role on Broadway. Previews began March 23, 2017 and the show officially opened April 24, 2017 at the Broadhurst Theatre. Her performance in the Broadway production earned her positive reviews and numerous Award nominations.

This is so surreal. Christy is my age. She and I were both kids who grew up with Liz Callaway’s voice in this movie. And she gets to sing with her.

Listening to this is definitely a Journey to the Past . I've seen this movie plenty times and never gets old . Listening to Liz Callaway Yes is definitely listening to Anastasia . The song and movie itself brings you to a whole other world . I Love this

Oh my god, listening to this, the moment the song started, that voice--I was shot back YEARS, to sitting in front of my tiny TV and VHS player, watching one of the most well-worn VHS'es in my collection, just spending time before I had to go to kid's theatre rehearsals. Now, both parts of my childhood are holding hands and doing duets, and it sounds like not a single day has passed.

For the most part, I was singing the melody, and Christy was singing the lower harmony.
