They are descendants of European royalty, most notably the German Hanoverians, who were also related to the Russian Romanovs, the last royals in pre-revolutionary Russia.
In 1917, George V changed their surname from the historic name of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha to Windsor to make it sound English.
The German prince Albert von Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha was the husband of queen Viktoria, their first son Edward the first British king with the family name Sachsen - Coburg- Gotha, queen Mary was German and the German language was a common thing in the royal family, the late queens father was half German and prince Philip was also German.
Britons regard this so Britishness is about as BIZARRE as one could possibly imagine.

Camilla has done brilliantly over the past few weeks and months. It reminds me of my illness when Woody.EXE tried so hard to keep his emotions together in 2023 and everyone in Wales was there supporting him in that difficult time and everyone wished me his Queen well back then. It brings it all back

Happy Easter. God hear my prayers. There are so many different obstacles that I face as a single mom. Some days I want to give up. I’m struggling to make ends meet. Both of my sons are special needs and require much from me. I keep faith because I know that God will provide. So as I struggle to buy groceries for my children, and as I struggle to pay rent every month. I turn to God! He is our provider. He is our God. He will strengthen us.
I will never understand how people who are struggling to pay groceries and put shelter over their children's heads have all the money in the world for phones and being online. Congratulations on knowing your priorities.
This reminds me of another person's account called "Madison's gods daughter" She'd put up videos of her crying.. Her sister was 12 years old for the last three years and she had multiple ways to give her money just like you do. Surprise surprise she no longer has an account.
