Judith's voice is immortal. Rest in peace, and thank you for these wonderful songs.
Such a great voice! RIP Judith.
She sounds beautiful for any age, but for 70 this is remarkable. The beauty never left her sound.
There won’t be another voice like Judith’s. RIP
I totally agree
May Judith Rest In Peace with The Lord, Amen.
@@im413 She did not believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. She believed in some mistic indian voodoo stuff or something. Making people happy has nothing to do with salvation. If it did then there was no need for Christ to die on the Cross for our sins. Ephesians 2:8-9

Same look in her eyes, even brighter voice, 50+ years later. Judith Durham is really one of a kind. They all are!
M Robinson 54 years later
Actually 47 years later from 1966 when this song was released until this concert in 2013.
Not many performers can sing like that when they're 70+ years old - remarkable.
they sound JUST fantastic.. "a little bit"... I even LOVE what this songs stands for... Don't be afraid to LOVE and wear your heart on your sleeve... try some new habits that can really make a beautiful difference in your life... BUT be reasonable... a little at a time... and DON'T go to extreme...
Or at any age

Another Judy can just as well- Judy Collins.
This woman...this voice....nothing more to say....
Speechless
@@prezakid9 I thought they were doing playback.
🥰
So nice to relive this…memories of my boyhood! And she sounded wonderful even in 2013… weeping, but remembering her…

RIP Judith, the best female vocalist ever....IMO
Nobody's ever had a voice remotely like Judith's, and fifty years later, the voice still nearly completely intact. Incredible.
Its a Miracle of YHWH
Pure music 🎼 I ordered a 12 string today. One of my all time favorite songs .
@@davidherringgo im 48 but i love that music and make me cry i don t know why
Incredible
You are so correct. Most people when they get older lose some singing ability. But Judith has lost very little over the years!!
Judith's voice still sounds as youthful as ever.
The world will never see another Georgy girl only Judith the one and only. RIP sweet lady and thanks for the memories xx
I love this band. RIP Judith, now singing in the heavens.
She did not believe in Jesus Christ. She believed in some sort of indian voodoo or something. Also, "we are not Gods' counselor or his advisors, We do not speak for God. We do not have the authority to say were any of us will be or what we will be doing. We are only the creation and not the creator.
After all these years, that voice is still magnificent. Judith is still the original Georgy Girl.
Rest well Ms Judith Durham, the gem of Australia ❤️
She did not believe in Jesus Christ. They said it was some sort of indian mystic voodoo or something.
Still sound the same at 70.? God, no. They're just getting better and better!!
2024. I sought this song out from my childhood, after getting a similar stroke of nostalgia from "Red Rubber Ball". Love it!
Rest in peace, Judith. There's a lot less beauty in the world since you left us.
Judy still sings it just like she did in the 60’s!!!! She doesn’t run out of breath like a lot of other older stars do.
And she's been afflicted with a delibatining lung condition since childhood
@@kennethferry1282 🙁
And this though she was probably working with one lung.
I'm 5 years old again, brother Allen is alive and this is playing on the AM radio in mom and dad's bedroom and in the '61 station wagon. [sigh] Parents are about to be 92 and 86. No parent should have to bury their child. Sorry... melancholy³ .
Condolences. I'm sorry for your loss.
@@kevingoins9858 Thanks.
Im Agree but YHWH decides our destiny
There is no need for you to apologize for your memories Friend hold them close to your heart
These guys haven't missed a step great work by the Seekers they still sound like it's 1968
This amazing Australian band was and is so underrated. Considering here at this show they are all in their 70s and still sing this song like they did in the 60s.
Still had that amazing singing vocals in her 70s wow,so sad she has passed away at 79,fairwell georgy girl.💕
"For the wages of sin is death, (we all die, therefore we are all sinners deserving of hell and then the lake of fire on judgement day) but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
My favorite song by the seekers!
OMG They sound the same. Amazing after all these years. Fabulous group Thankyou for sharing.
Performed just as if she didn't mind singing the same song tens of thousands of times! I'll also give credit to the musicians for that, but Judith's beauty and her voice made her the star of the show, of course. Glory and all pleasantries are wished by me for the Seekers. You've brought so much joy to other people with your songs and appearances. Peace and happiness be unto you and yours.
Rest In Peace you wonderful memory. What a voice.
Amazing 70 years old and sings exactly the same, love this group they will live forever in the music industry ❤️
Judith is such an inspiration! The boys too!
Not afraid of aging anymore!🌹
What a beautiful, talented lady, so sad to hear of her passing xx
rest in peace, Sweet Judith!
That smile is never gonna get old.
RIP Judith, you have brought joy to us with your beautiful voice
making people happy has nothing to do with salvation. If it did then there was not need for Christ to die on a cross to save us from our sins.
Absolutely amazing. This group never played on the fact they were superbly famous, they just wanted to make people happy. As it always should be nowadays with other bands...👍
One of if not the best female vocalist ever heard. 🙏♥️🙏💕☮️☝️💜
Anyone here in 2024
Yep. Judith Durham, wow, the Seekers, wow.

This song gave me goose bumps when I first heard it in the 60's because it made me feel so good, and it still does.. Bravo, Bravo...
You are looking at and listening to four amazing artists and human beings. Thank you Seekers for all your great music which endures to this very day !
until judgement day.
One of the few voices, that actually gives me goosebumps when I hear it. R.I.P Judith
I was in junior high when this song came out. It was one of the 1st 45s I bought.

Good Lord, what a performance! Just randomly came across my feed.

Ursa Major65 because they could sing properly from the very start.

Agreed, but even so, this is utterly amazing!
Glen Campbell said when he gave up drinking & smoking & drugs he got his voice back

I wish this video gets a million views, they truly deserve that.
I love the Seekers they remind me when I was very young
It's great to see the youngsters in the audience enjoying the song just as much.
Makes me smile every time, from the 1967 homecoming performance to this one.
R.I.P Judith. Thank you for your great voice.

Remarkable. Took me back to the 60’s! Judith still has that amazing voice.
Judith is just a treasure!! What a voice for many decades!! She just makes us smile all the time!!
I recall when I came out of the movie how happy I felt.
I was six years old when this came out. One of the earliest songs I remember on the radio.
Wow! The Seekers really stood the test of time. They all look like that lived very happy, healthy lives.
What a song, group & performance! Very moving hearing this song and, the memories it brings back. Thanks to The Seekers!!

That was a complete PRIVILEGE listening to that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am 55 now and grew up as a child listening to the seekers and I am AMAZED at how they sound now! Got to be the best ever, who else has done this..........blown away!!!!!
Magically!
What a diamond ! R.I.P Judith xx
So amzing!!! Still such a crisp voice after all this time.
First favorite song in my life. 60 years later it still is my favorite song.
One of the greatest pop songs ever written, sung by one of the greatest folk bands ever assembled.
The fact that this tour named farewell makes me sad.. and i just find the seekers in the last two years.. how lucky they are who watch this song first release
The Seekers’ sound takes me straight back to early childhood (in Ireland) - such a wonderful feeling and sweet memories. And I share in all the compliments about Judith’s voice - as bright and crisp and clear and happy as ever!!
Judith strongly self-identified with the Georgy character in the movie. She had a near-fatal brain hemorrhage in 2013. Fortunately she survived; someone realized right away that something was wrong and got help to her in time. I sent her this song that composed itself in my head, to a very recognizable tune, after I met an Australian girl at an open mike night. I e-mailed it to Judith, and an aide replied that she was thrilled with it.
Hey there, Judith Durham
Leading up The Seekers through the years
You and all your mates gave us lots of fun
And memories too - then suddenly
Hey there, Judith Durham
You had quite the nasty scare that May
But your mates stood by you all the way
And you pulled right through
You ne’er were scared of changing and rearranging yourself
Nor scared of jumping down from the shelf
More than a little bit
Hey there, Judith Durham
You had quite the rocky road ahead
But you brought out all the strength you hid
And, oh, what a change there's been
The world has seen a new Judith Durham
Still amazing!!!!😍✨😍✨😍✨
Voice of an angel ❤
WOW. They still sound amazing👌🏾
Our beautiful angel Judith 😇 now rest in peace 🙏 🕊.
Well done ! This was always a," make me feel happy song " imo.
They were the 60s and their music will last well into the next 60s and beyond.
Waw thank you from my mother and I ,love your music.
They sound amazing. I have memories of listening to this record at my grandparents place.
Absolutely amazing!
Brings back memories of the 60s Xx❤❤

Wonderful , just wonderful .
Sweet Judith. Bless her. RIP
This is one of the songs from my teen years. I always lived the joy and optimism they brought in their performance.
RIP Judith
I had to watch this twice to believe it. How can they sound the same as when I was a teenager in the 60’s
they aged gracefully, no doubt! thanks for the music!
just magnificent and beautiful...and after like 50 plus years, she still has it...wow!
This made me happy. I'm 37
even then she had that just fantastic god given voice
Beautiful singing, thank you. Judith, we love you!!!
Que recuerdos !!!!, un verdadero placer escucharlos después de tantísimos años y verlos juntos cantando como con aquel entusiasmo de aquel tiempo!!!!.
phenomenal voice
Great songs each give you a unique feeling that can't be accurately described. I thought this was one of the greatest songs ever when it was a hit. I was in first grade at the time. I can still feel that same feeling it gave me back in 1967. This, 'Happy Together', 'Penny Lane' and 'Ruby Tuesday' were all on the charts at the same time back then, and they were my four favorite songs in the world at that time,. They are still as great today as they were then. I'm amazed at how good they still sounded when they did this performance. Perfect.
what a voice
Greatness is timeless!

Still got it!
