"Choose Me" -- a song featured in the Netflix original movie "KATE" and the HBO Max series Peacemaker as BAND MAID, has so many great RnR chops, it's kinda unbelievable. From Saiki's old-school phrasing, cadence and a super soulful vocal at the end; MISA's driving bass, her special riff after Kanami's brilliant, rocking main solo (complete with harmonic pinch), and her pulls at the end of the song that really funks it up with Akane's drumming; to Kanami's original composition, off-beat octave stretches during the verses, and her addition of a second uncomplicated yet super tasty solo; to Akane's unique snare & tom flurry that launches the choruses; and to Miku's octave-down, in & out vocal backup and lyrics... all makes "Choose Me" a throwback rocker that surprised me when I first heard it - and I'll bet most anyone - that they would come up with this western-style, rock 'n roll classic.
Of course, after years later, it's not surprising at all coming from this important band of geniuses who are, along with The Warning band, almost single-handedly bringing back the joy of rock. Here's a great live MV of "Choose Me" that's not quite as punchy do to the mix, but still good: ruclips.net/video/HcqitbXgigU/видео.html Thx, Jessica! ;-)

It’s the perfect mid-2000s pop-punk banger. It reminds me of Damone’s Out Here All Night except on steroids.

Any and all “corrections” are tongue in cheek, teasing between friends. Don’t worry. It won’t be long before you go to the pharmacy and ask someone where the Band Maids are 😂

Thank you for your reaction. Don't worry about the band aid, it just happens now and then. Both official live and MVs are great so I suggest the latest official live for the song Puzzle and the MV for Blooming. Have fun! :)

Considering the band’s first logo was literally a Band Aid with a doily around it, it’s an easy mistake to make and the Band is well aware of that and played into it.
This song reminds me a lot of Paramore. Similar vibes to me, BM is just better on their instruments. And I personally like the MV for this one more than the live. The live is not bad, just think the audio quality on this is excellent.

The Band Aid image was used early on. Maybe a pun to personify Miku's clumsy accident-prone nature. Thanks for your reaction
