Thanks for the nice interview about a clean home. I recently decided to declutter my duplex home I broom, mop, dust and clean regularly but that's not enough. Things in cupboards pile up,, kitchen shelves are not inspected regularly and specific areas need cleaning. Now I have made it a daily habit to inspect and attend to the specific area for half an hour mist days. I feel good. But I thank my lucky stars that I am fit to clean and dust at 66..Many people don't take fitness seriously. One of the benefits of fitness is being able to take charge of cleaning your home
I grew up in a very clean home with a working Mother & Father. I was never trained to clean house, so it was foreign to me to do the nasty chores everyone else took for granted as a necessity. I do think some procrastination comes from ADD/ADHD, and others from chronic depression issues. I have heard the messes are a reflection of the inner conflict inside a person who is dealing with “stuff”. Please don’t call all people in this situation lazy. Some may be, but not all.
I’m so happy you had this guest back! I enjoy his generous wisdom and insight! Last year I procrastinated and then bought his book which was a pass to procrastinate even more because I’ve never even cracked it open on Kindle! I’ve really let myself down for a whole but this year I’m doing the challenge because I NEED this! I’m swimming in clutter and it makes me crazy. Somehow I find a way to blame my dogs or the weather or everything but my own issues. Time for change, excited for this challenge! 😆
Thank you for having such a great topic for the beginning in 2023 ChefAJ! I organize my books like this.. by topics.. and I didn’t realize I was being organized 😅
So great seeing you in the New Year, Chef AJ! Your podcast is extremely inspiring! You are fabulous! Looking forward to new episodes and more of you and your guests! THANK YOU SO MUCH ABD BLESSINGS! ♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏👍🤗🌱🌱

Fully understand and empathize with your words. Thanks for saying this.

I think the fly lady system works extremely well to keep organized. She'd be a good guest.

Andrew has helped me so much already. Just being able to easily find my keys, has probably given me a year of extra time.
I’m following minimalism and it feels so freeing.
Agree
I just love this man’s vocabulary ❤
You should have Cass from Clutterbug, Dana K White from A slob comes clean and Dawn from the minimal mom. They are amazingly helpful.
Agreed they are the trifecta
Good to know. Thanks for sharing that info.
I needed this!! Thank you, Chef AJ!
I knew two people who spoke Yiddish. They were my roommates. And that was in southern California!

That he guessed the Potato Eaters is so funny. Quick.
Use up before buying more, even if its in sale. This applies to skincare, make-up, and stationary supplies (at least for me).
