I didn't move to LA in 1972 like Berry Gordy did, I waited til 1995. How did you manage to get into the vault? Your profession/business? That's real Mecca.
I know it's understood but it's hard to imagine standing in a 20'X14" room where more number one hits were recorded than any place on the earth. And right there was where Jamerson stood. And right there was where Jamerson layed on the floor recording What's going On....etc, etc.
The one thing I though was cool as I was driving up to the building, I passed the funeral home which is right next door. Funk brothers talked about hiding out there and drinking between takes, etc. I wondered if anyone ever interviewed the owner or even family members for more Motown story gems. Unfortunately I only thought about it the next day as I was leaving town.

I’m happy that there are documentaries like Standing in the Shadows of Motown and The Wrecking Crew and The Immediate Family. These films showcase the previously unknown musicians who played on some of the greatest music ever made.

Wow, I understand why (Michael Jackson) was so fascinated with Diana Ross, she was a songstress before her time. Diana Ross and the Supremes had me and all of the guys my age in love with her vocals and lyrics. These songs will never die, keep rocking MOSOGOTAM!
