    Hi Manuel, Great video! Did you use a gimbal/steadicam. If so, which one did you use?
    Cheers, Marcel

      Hi Marcel
      Thanks for your feedback. I appreciate that!
      I filmed all handheld. Due to the high framerate everything looks so smooth and stable :)

    What picture profile did you use? Slog? Cine? I noticed the dynamic range is very good. Nothing too dark or blown out. Thats hard do do with snow and sun. im thinking of getting this as a B camera on trips. From what i see on youtube, this camera only looks good in slow motion, 4k looks too jumpy and crisp.

      I've used Cine1 I think. It's a long time ago already. Use slow motion only in 250 fps mode because quality gets bad with higher fps. And I don't have a lot of experience filming with 4k and the rx100. Cheers

    what was your exact settings when you recorded these?

    • @manuwen
      @manuwen  5 лет назад

      This video was shot at 250fps in quality-priority mode. So the native resolution is 1824*1026 which is upscaled to a Full HD file.

      Thank you very much Manuel, it is of great help for the future, because I want to buy the sony rx 100 and record myself skiing and skating. I was impressed by the sharpness quality and the fps. Thank you very much, and again a great job!

      When we talk about upscaled a full hd, do you mean that you upload the video to youtube at 1824 x 1026 and you choose full quality hd to play on RUclips? Thank you.

      The camera records in 1824x10126 and saves it as a Full HD file on the SD-Card. So you'll always work with a Full HD File wile editing. And if you shot in 1000 fps quality priority, the files resolution is 1136*384 and will be shown as Full HD on your SD Card. I've wrote an article about it. unfortunately in german, but maybe you're browser transalte to english :)
