Amber Portwood introduces us to her latest sugar baby and immediately begins faking motherhood to impress him.

Im concerned about Sophia. Not only does she look possessed but she has been brainwashed to feel anger towards David and Deb for no reason. Farrah has a problem with these people, not Sophia. Sophia is just a child. SMDH

Farrah never disciplines Sophia. Sophia gets away with literally everything. Deb had a different parenting style. But still Sophia Will be unfortunately growing up as a narcissist And/or depressed sociopath

My friend is a file clerk at the family services section of the court and she sees so much of this shit. There was a mom with 7 kids in foster care applying for more government assistance because she was pregnant and couldn't work 😓😓

I recall the great Randy Houska telling Chelsea, quite sternly, that parents aren't friends, they are parents, when he overheard Chelsea say Aubrey was her best friend. I wish someone would tell Farrah that. I feel bad for Sophia.
I feel like Mack and Ryan are fighting like this because they got married to each other not even knowing each other. This the first time she has been around him "sober".

I don't know where to begin! Ambers priorities are all screwed up. She's a true deadbeat. How dare she even call Gary last minute to see her daughter because she's feeling a bit better since her new dude. I wouldve lost it if my ex got dropped off at my house with his new thing after knowing her for 2 weeks! The audacity! I tried to rewind what Mack whispered to Ryan like 4 times and couldn't figure it out. Farrah is 100% projecting her feelings on David on Sophia and that's so unhealthy. I cried when you called her friend a hooker 😭💀. My heart aches for Cait. She wears her emotions on her sleeve and you can see that seeing Carly cut her deep.

I don't know how amber even considers herself a mother. I don't care if she has depression and doesn't want Leah to see her because parents are supposed to go through all the ups and downs in life with their kids and share their actual life with their kids. Cait gave her daughter up for adoption but still tries so hard to see Carly and misses her like crazy yet Amber can see Leah whenever she wants but doesn't care

I actually do know how bipolar disorder and depression work, I suffer from the latter unfortunately. I am also a parent and there is never a time when I'm away from my child and I don't miss him and want to see him right away, I'm not even close to being perfect but I try my hardest. He sees me cry, smile, struggle, succeed, and everything in between because he is my son and I want him to know that no matter what I go through, I'm always trying my best. I'm no expert but it's really amazing how Amber miraculously recovers from any mental health issues as soon as she has a boyfriend. She seems to be able to travel great distances and put up with so much for guys but only does the absolute least for her daughter. Not all people are meant to be parents and Amber is one of those.
S V you have to remember not everyone is the same and nobody deals w depression the same. At least try to understand her
Bbygirl Gem I have depression and damn right its my kids that get me through the worse of it, i wouldnt be here if i didnt have them, yes you might not want to get out of bed or do anythi g but it takes no energy at all to sit in bed and have cuddles with your kids, watch films, talk colour etc, amber is shit, she soon feels better when she has found another dead beat bloke, she cant see her kid but she can soon leave her bed to go and meet some random dude, gtfoh😂😂😂

dude i hate when people do that, it's quite immature. my sister in law would say my kids like her more then us because they'd want to walk with their aunt or ride in the car with her. Yeah we see you guys maybe 4 times a year, they get excited for their aunt and uncle, but if they were to go stay the night with you, theyd be petrified. They love to hug and sit on their laps. It's so rude when people say that a kid would rather be with them then their real parents who raised them. my kids will ask all the time to go see an old friend of mine i hadnt seen in years, kids love hanging out with their parents friends and new people.

Brandon and Theresa need to cut ties with Cait and Tyler. They ARE delusional. They want more than whats probably expected. I feel like they were too young to make the decision they made, although the right choice. I think brandon and theresa should end the visitations until shes older. Because lord knows Cait and Ty can't let go.
I don't think it's fair how everyone only bashes on Tyler and Cait. Brandon and Theresa chose to adopt a child off a reality TV show, too. They had just as little foresight as to how big this show would get. You can't un-ring a bell. Theresa and Brandon could have adopted from a family that wasnt on TV if they didn't want their child on TV.
I'm confused! C&T are still allowed to see Carly...just not paste her on tv/social media. Tyler said last season he would give up ever seeing her again just to disrespect B&T by posting her photo on social media, which is pretty troubling 🤕 I think B&T...and even C&T thought 16 and pregnant would be a one off documentary, not a huge show that's still around 10 years later!

I wish ding dong Dawn would have really explained to Cate and Tyler that at anytime Teresa and Brandon can stop visitations no matter what they agreed on. I felt so bad when Cait held Carley. Dawn should've asked her if this is really what she wants to do because once you sign those papers there's no going back. I hope this makes other Moms in an open adoption really think about what they're doing.

I can relate to Kristian I'm also a stepmom to two of our kids who live with us. Their mom picks and choose when she's like to see them drives me insane that moms pick men, drinking or whatever over their own children! It's hard when the kids come to me and ask about her and I have to make excuses for her so that they don't feel unwanted by her. Leah deserves better Gray and Kris are doing amazing

I was a surrogate mom to my nieces while my sister in law decided to be a drug addict and play video games instead. Now her and my brother in law are getting divorced and she is so bitter that her kids love and respect me more that she has told him that if they have any contact with me or my husband, she will file for full custody of them and never let him or my in laws see them or my nephew that I’ve never been allowed to see (who is almost 1) again. So now I can’t see my 13 year old or 5 year old nieces and they are probably being told by her that I want nothing to do with them because she is a raging cunt. Thankfully, my brother in law is back at home with my in laws and my father in law will be fighting for custody of all of my nieces and nephew because neither of the parents are fit to take care of them.

Amber is one of those hole fillers. If there's no man in her life, she becomes desperate to find another to fill the ever present hole in her soul. She's OG's version of Jenelle and Kailyn and she's about to catch up in the kid count. I think most of these girls have that hole, but luckily they found someone who will stick around or they put their energy elsewhere.
When Amber says she stays away from Leah when she's depressed, I understand that reasoning, but I don't fully believe her. It's like you said, she has the will to visit Matt and film another ridiculous reality show, but she can't even bear to see Leah more than once or twice over an entire summer. That shows a lack of interest or desire. She claims she's protecting Leah, but how do you think Leah will feel once the new baby arrives and suddenly mom's got time for him, but still no time for Leah?

I’m truly surprised that Kailyn hasn’t gotten back with Javi like Leah and Jeremy. I thought for sure that as soon as Javi started dating Briana, she would make herself a permanent fixture in his life and find some way to get him back.
Brandi Munguia Kailyn has a whole other set of baggage that makes her this man-eating thunderbitch. She tried to get Joe back several times, if I remember correctly, but that was because he didn't really want her. Javi wanted her so badly that it made him look weak in her eyes therefore she won and now has no interest in him. She wants someone who has no interest in her so she will more likely be chasing after Chris until the next baby daddy comes along.
Prescilla24 I think she wants him back now. That’s why she was sending him those texts about Briana and why she didn’t go to the Christmas party for the TM2 cast. It feels like as soon as he finally moved on, she wanted him back for the same reason you said, she wants what she can’t have. However I think she didn’t want to be with Javi because she was over him being jealous and possessive also and he was being fucking crazy breaking into the house through the basement and coming over at all hours of the night, scaring Issac (like he told Joe). I know Kail is heartless, but Javi is no saint either.

I believe Amber's Borderline Personality Disorder is what influences her jumping from relationship to relationship. From what I've read, the core symptom is fear of abandonment, which is why she's constantly in relationships, unstable ones at that. As for moving on from Matt so fast, she tends to see people in an all positive or all negative manner, and upon their breakup, she saw him in a completely negative way, which is why she moved on so fast. Obviously, not an excuse at all, but it gives perspective. And I am pretty positive Jenelle has the same disorder, as she shows the same pattern of behavior.
Also, Farrah's friend is Frenchy, and she's a stripper who appeared on Rock of Love 2.

You gave my exact reaction to how carly was with ty and cait. She's just a kid, and doesn't see them as any type of parent.
Amber has NO excuse to be that behind in child support, especially considering how much of her $$ Matt has gotten... sad.

As for Cate and Tyler, i think they've said enough horrible things about her parents she'll want nothing to do with them. Whenever Cate mocked Teresa's infertility on national T.V. i thought to myself "If someone did that to my mother I would never speak to them again." I think Tyler tried sabotaging their relationship after Nova was born on purpose. He's ready to move on and focus on HIS daughter and we've seen Cate either talking about Carly, crying about Carly, or struggling from a depression that stems from Carly nonstop for 8 years. I think Tyler is just ready to be done with it until Carly is 18.
But biologically speaking with cate, n ty... there’s a bond there that Carly is unaware of. There’s just a bond there that no one who is not a parent can’t understand

I agree with everything you said per the usual. I think Catelynn and Tyler have one of the most unhealthy relationships I've ever seen. The best thing for them physically and emotionally would be to leave the show, break up and pursue their own lives and identities. They stay together because of the show and I'm sure they feel as though they SHOULD stay together because of this perfect image they try to portray. Staying on this show just does nothing but cause them harm. They have to keep reliving Carly's adoption over and over and over; how is that healthy? Stop talking about it already! They have to keep reliving it because it's their story line. For their, and Carly's benefit, they should stop having visits and cut ties. They are just causing her confusion and themselves pain. If it weren't for the show I'm sure they would have stopped seeing her a long time ago. I don't believe for a second that Carly "misses" them or has any attachment to them. She doesn't know them. They should break up because it's obvious the love isn't there anymore. They need to get some kind of 50/50 custody for Nova and find a healthy way to co parent. Catelynn needs to lose weight for her health and her low self esteem. They both need to enroll in college, get careers and move on with their lives, separately. I'm sure they would feel so much better about their lives and themselves if they actually did that.

You 100% right about tyler & cait. I think there putting the blame on brandon & theresa rather than own up to their decision. Carly will get older & possibly have a nagative opinion towards them, i dont think they've even thought that far ahead.

Also all eight year old girls love spending time with younger children they perceive to be "babies" in their eyes which is probably why she wanted to ride with them.
Obviously they haven't thought a lot of things through or they wouldn't have had a baby at 16 especially in the condition they were in with their own parents, but let's not forget that they're still human and they made a tough choice at a young age that most adults can't even bring themselves to make, and to make matters worse they're on a tv show with the whole world watching their every move, which, in my opinion, these girls should be done with because now they're setting even worse examples for young kids more than just getting pregnant at a young age, but back to T&C they need some real help with dealing with everything and all of them Ty and Cate and Brandon and Theresa need to come together for Carly and not try and use her as a rope in a tug of war because when she turns 18 she'll get to decide for herself who stays and who goes despite it being biological or a piece of paper and that's really what people need to understand in these situations.....like it or not adoption doesn't mean forever like people would like to think and that may sound bad because good people with good intentions do deserve to be looked at that way but the reality is that at 18 it's only up to one person, the child so sadly the adoptive parents almost always need to walk on eggshells when it comes to bio parents because 99% of adopted children want to know who am I and where did I originate from and they may choose to have a relationship with their bios but if it comes out that the adopted parents tried to hinder that then it will come back to haunt them there is just no guarantees in adoption and sadly not everyone can be happy because unless you're heartless you'll always love your child and wish they were with you and if you're the adoptive parents there's no guarantee that you won't have just given 18 yrs of your life just to be kicked to the curb

They gave carly up. Its annoying & distasteful already for them to be playing the victim. Carly is the one whos going to struggle with everything.

I don't agree that Tyler and Caitlin are projecting there feelings on Carly because I saw how she was the last few visits she seemed to be really attached to Tyler especially and even called him daddy.I don't think she spends every night crying over them every night either but I do think she wonders about them and misses them.

I’ve got to tell you I’ve never clicked on a video faster I was legitimately watching a show and I stopped it so I can put this on my TV… I just have to say it I’ve said it before on a different website but I think it’s beyond true once again Amber was going for the Golden Globe when she was trying to cry in the kitchen and nothing came out and it was Unbelievably not right when she said she was just going to play child support next week…Excuse me why haven’t you been paying it I understand she’s depressed at the very least she can do for Leah is make sure her child support checks come in on time I really question her priorities it creeps me out that Andrew looks and acts like Matt does anyone else think it’s odd that the only time Amber really made an effort to go see Leah is when she had a boyfriend. I really wish they would stop trying to get me excited about this McKenzie Ryan wedding because I think what she did to him was so disgusting that I have no desire to see them faking a happy future together

Gary has been trying to co-parent with her and has matured SO MUCH when it comes to how he speaks to Amber and trying to give her opportunities to be a parent to Leah and she does not try enough. period. she has never been motherly towards Leah since the child was born. Lets not forget that she used to physically abuse Gary as well. I think Gary is trying his best to keep a healthy balance because he truly wants the best for his daughter but knows that Amber may never step up as a parent.

Grace Report Omg it's been epic! Someone tweeted "If Amber is such a bad mom what does that make Kristina since she doesn't have custody of her oldest daughter!" and Amber liked it and retweeted it! she's deleted it but it's still under her "liked" posts. someone showed to Gary what she'd shared and Gary explained how Kristina and her ex husband have 50/50 custody so they get her for the same amount of time. my bff has the same setup and she has her from 330-630 every day during the week after school and then she goes to her dads during the night. They alternate weekends. And i think during the summer they just alternate full weeks. Amber is so delusional. If this arrangement of Kristina's proves anything it's that Kristina must be great at coparenting with her ex husband because that arrangement really only works with couples who are good to each other and care about coparenting. And even if Kristina DIDN'T even have 50/50, she'd still be doing better than Amber if she was taking her daughter every other weekend! Amber knows Kristina makes her look absolutely neglecting in comparison. Kristina eventually tweeted a thank you to everyone and said "Gary and our three beautiful girls are my whole world, thank you everyone for the words of support" and someone said in a FB group even Kristina's ex husband tweeted in defense of her! I have not personally seen his tweet but it supposedly says: "Kristina is a wonderful mother to our daughter, her stepdaughter, and her youngest daughter. We currently work hard to ensure we both get to spend the same amount of time with her and she gets to spend equal time with all her siblings. While our daughter was in the hospital we each took shifts sleeping by her side so she had one of us there at all times. People can choose to believe what they want but as her ex husband and coparent any allegations that she is somehow an absent mom are just not true." It doesn't shock me Amber wants to believe that she is somehow on Kristina's level as a mother in her wacked out head, but i swear i clutched my invisible darn pearls when she retweeted a post being rude to a woman that has done NOTHING but encourage a better relationship between not only Leah and Amber but also Gary and Amber.

I do agree that Cate and Tyler are projecting. The entire point of this kind of honesty in adoption is to avoid the child having feelings of abandonment or the issues that usually occur in adolescence surrounding identity and self esteem. The fact is, this child has all the ingredients needed for success. She knows who she is, her total self truth and has a life in which she can reasonably predict the behavior of the adults in her life day to day. What we are hearing from the birth parents is the pain and confusion you feel life long if you have a childhood absent the benefit of predictable, plugged in adults. Its very painful and you can really hear that.
