@EUDronePort Can a C2 drone fly in an A3 category scenario with just A1/A3 training /registration? As a foreigner living outside of EU, it is challenging to undertake & complete A2 training certification prior to arrival into EU.

      Hello!
Yes, you can fly a C2 drone in A3, with a A1/A3 training certificate.
Training certificates proof that you can fly in a determined scenario, not a determined UAS.
      We hope this helps 😉

A flying car with a camera is what? The real killer is cars. In the last week or two, cars, trucks, buses have crashed into houses here in Australia, yet they are going after small drones. CRAZY.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us! We understand that drone regulations can sometimes feel frustrating, especially when other forms of transportation may pose higher safety risks. As a drone regulatory company, we recognize the importance of striking the right balance between innovation and safety.
It's essential to remember that new technologies like drones require careful oversight to ensure the safety of both operators and the public. The regulations in place aim to mitigate potential risks and foster responsible drone usage.

@@EUDronePort please state your potential risk posed by a small 250g drone, in the last few weeks, 6 people have died in air craft accidents here in Australia, 2 when light planes collided, 4 when an army helicopter crashed. Please stop imaging big disasters.

Hi@@3goldfinger, we understand your frustration. Please note that we are not the regulator, but a company that bridges the gap between operators & regulation. We make regulations affordable for everyone 🙂

If I have drone under 250g with camera (dji mini 3 pro)
As I understood, all I need is an insurance and free registration, correct?
Will that be valid for a whole EU territory?

      Hi!
Correct, it will be valid in all EASA Member States.
You will also need an A1/A3 training, and to check if flight permits are required in each location you are willing to fly.
      Safe flights!
