scorpygixxer when i was a kid back home i use to love when you guys flew over my house near the dodder river down at bolbrook in tallaght one year me and my friends got this crazy idea to put our kites on reels of sea fishing line so we could fly them very hight one saturday i had mine up about 3,000feet when i saw the Alouette coming right for it i try to get it down and i just see the heilcopter make a sharp turn to the right it seen the big kite an tryed to avoid it as it was going back to baldonnel airport i never for got that day it was in 80s maby 86 i wonder if you where that Piolt ? Or did u ever hear of this story from and of you commrads in baldonnel ? Thank for the great air shows we had back then
I flew Alouette III's in the 70's & early 80's for 8 years: offshore in the Gulf of Mexico for Rotor Aids (Exxon), and for Rocky Mountain Helicopters in Colorado 's Rocky Mountains out of Denver's St. Anthony Hosptial (Flight for Life) & Baptist Life Flight in Pensacola.
I flew Alouette 3 for 10 years for the irish army. Thanks for bringing back the sounds and the memories.

Maybe the last in Switzerland, in Austria they still feel pretty comfortable. About 20 of them are living in Aigen i. E. and are part of the military!
