My biggest problem is when my opponent runs no huddle and I have to audible to a different play and make a bunch of adjustments and just don’t have enough time

Let's be honest...against top level passers we know the coverage animations presnap based on alignment. We need to go back to pre Madden 17 and prior where the game was physics-based. It's way too easy to manipulate these coverage animations. It's more cheese now than anything.
The game has been animation based since madden 15.
@@otissweatpants well they started removing more of the physics at that time, correct. I think it wasn't completely removed till 18. I could be off a tad. 100% tho my last fav Madden 14- 15..so I don't doubt u...14 the 25th edition was good. Also 13 with Megatron on cover. 07 on PS2 was the last masterpiece...trash on 360 tho
@1stcivdiv81 Very smart. At least it gives u a chance to confuse these route cheesers. N, that's what it is, straight cheese. Anything you do in a game to abuse any type of mechanics or animations is the definition of cheese. Our NHL tourneys back in the day, you weren't allowed to score using the right left BS cheese goal. We had higher standards and wanted to win cause we were better, not cause we knew the best mechanic to abuse.
That's not, "get ur game up, brah"...When Madden was physics-based, I was 1st tier All-Madden when it was only 1% of everyone. Won many MUT SBs with 1st round bye in my favor. Since frostbite engine it's mostly whatever the "meta" is cause the animations.
It still requires skill to make the reads off the animation beating routes, but it's not the same. It's not simulation football.
I love Madden, I hate the frostbite engine. I've adapted. it's just not as fun as it once was.

This time i see a little problem and hope you have a solution. Most players start to run when nothing is open. Do you have a idea to stopp it?
Thats the reason why i dont like formations with 3 d liner.
With both the blitzing defenses I described (disengage and A-Gap) they won’t be able to run towards the middle.
When they try rolling outside you’ll have 2 5 yard curl flats on either side of the field to send at the QB when they rollout.

When i see someone usering a Dlineman i know its a free win
Pressing triangle then down on left stick press the defence, yet you say to press the defence and then use triangle and down to do something else. Also, I see no option to "crash" when making adjustments.

@Swolosimo it's OK. You said to press triangle and down on the LS for something other than press defence, but the text on the screen said to press down on the RS, so it was easy enough to figure out after rewatching the video. There's no option to "crash the defence," but I've learned that it's just lingo for shading underneath.
My question is, I've been using the Dollar Cover 4 Drop defense and was wondering if it's best to always use the hard flats? Or should I be leaving curl flats at times?

hey any playbooks with the first and last play ? i tried chiefs, ne and the jets and ne has the first, but the pats and chiefs don’t have tampa 2 in the formation
There are no playbooks with the first and last play.
KC has cover 4 in 43 even 6-1 which is similar to cover 2 if you adjust.

Did they patch the second play. I tried running in practice following the instructions to a tee and was not successful.
They did not patch it.
Make sure to follow the exact instructions in the video or it won’t work.
@@Swolosimo It honestly doesn't matter. I got the first and third ones to work like a charm. Plus the second one isn’t in the NE playbook which is what I use. Thank you so much for the tips though. My d was getting torched and now I’m getting people to quit just cuz they can’t pass the ball.
I use my joystick to put myself on the left outside LB then tap circle twice to put me on the right outside LB its alot faster for me

KC has all of them but instead of the dollar cover 2 press use FS zone blitz.

Yes but it’s more consistent if you don’t press in my opinion.

@@BMAC874 gotta get them out of the sets I think it’s in the core sets if you want to get the multiple d playbook it’s trash cus u gotta do the 7 gold player set and not even guaranteed to get it, it’s totally random. But can get all the basic team playbooks for 3 golds

The 49ers playbook has the 4-3 even 6-1,but no tampa 2
You can make the Tampa 2 from a cover 4 defense.
So what’s the zone drops on the last two defenses

The only Ds that slow down elite passers is tricky hybrid half zone / half man Ds. You gotta have nickle with 5 DL. Sub in ur 2 best pass coverage LBs as the LE and RE. Call a zone D. Now take those 2 cover LBs at DE and use one on each side to man up they slot & TE or slot & HB. Now u will still have 3 rushing and 8 in coverage with 2 extra playing man to confuse the animation alignments. Goodluck

@@cloudlol6596 Those type of hybrid Ds are the only ones that will confuse high level QBs. Best thing is if they run the 2LBs subbed in playing man off the snap will just react n play the run instead. Lots of ppl use different nickle formations running zone blitzs. The guy on the blitz they use as that free cover man so ur not technically putting any defender outta position cause he was blitzing and not a part of coverage.
The thing about those Ds which is a good idea to use the blitz man so u don't put a defender outta position..but...those nickle cover 2 zones leave the deep middle and 10-20 yard sideline area wide open. Problem is that's the area most non high level QBs can't throw.
Too many don't understand how to manipulate those coverages in ur favor without attempting the same route combos that only cheese animations. Those route combos are good but too many ppl use it as they main offensive weapon.
Use the slants and drags from outside WRs to manipulate the short zones up. Then use slot, te or HBs on streaks, corners and wheels. This way you can abuse the deep middle and mid sideline area all at once. Once they switch to cover 4 let the corners drop and abuse the short edges on easy flat patterns all day. Cover 3 and it's back to the deep corners and deep middle over the LBs. Against cover 6 recognize what CB is playing cover 2 and streak that outside wr. As soon as u snap bullet it in-between the CB and S.

@cloudlol6596 nickle 3-3 cub/ play Sam Will Blitz 3. A couple others. U just sub the outside end rush LBs as ur best cover LBs. The ones u use to man up, if they run, they will play that run too. If not, you got 6 in zone, 2 in man, and 3 still bringing pressure.
It's mostly specific zone plays in certain nickles.
Pure man one would be 3-3 cub / OLB Blitz 1. 3-3 cub Mike Blitz zero. Nickle triple, Hot Blitz 3..be the nickle corner on Blitz and manually lurk. Nickle triple Cover 3 sky and cover 3 seam.
Nickle 2-4 Odd Sam Mike 3 press you could do that sub and then be the MLB blitzing and just manually lurk with him. Man to man 2 guys with the LBs as ends. U will still bring 3. 😉😉

For some reason in ultimate team the playbooks are janky. Tried finding that cover 2 in the 4-3 even 6-1 and it’s not in that formation

Alr I just started playing madden heavy ill have my defense expecteding pass underneath opponent still passes underneath and complete the underneath pass ill switch to characters they don't even try to play ball ill switch to a defender and do the interception command they'll just not do it

no, unless there is a significant speed disadvantage (-8 or so)

For real I don’t even play if I see that defense. Shits gotta be patched it’s a joke. They don’t even try to block someone every snap. The others u can still pick the Mike backer and it picks it up so it’s fine but the first defense I quit instantly If I see it. Dumb shit lol
