On-airport accommodation, crew car, airport cafe with a veggie breakfast... This airport looks amazing! I am 100% adding this to my list of places to visit, what a brilliant vision and welcoming approach from the team there. Other airports should look to this as an example of how it should be done.

Wow that place has changed a lot since I was travelling out of Beccles on S61s and S76s out to rigs in the North Sea 30 years ago. The place was deserted and there was a portacabin and an old corrugated hangar. Lovely memories of a Summer coming back in over the flat golden fields and smoke rising into blue skies from the burning stubble across the Broads. Lovely area.

A wonderful stylish and quirky breakfast or brunch venue. I’ve never eaten at an aircraft wing before but hope to have another amazing meal in aeronautical style very soon! What an exceptional experience! I loved the yurt-style restaurant, despite strong winds and flapping canvas. Superb all round. ❤️

I love these aerodrome reviews!! I'm only a student pilot, but with PPL qualification looming and hours of hour building ahead I can't wait to vist these aerodromes. I love Sandown ( and Bembridge) and its lovely to see such a personal touch brought to the aerodrome. I'd have never thought to visit Beccles, but now its firmly on my to-go list! Thanks again for doing the review and also thank you to the airfiel owners for making such an effort to make Beccles what it is.

It's had quite a lot added to it since my flying days so lovely to see it doing well. I did my Qualifying Cross Country there on a really rubbish day! Incidentally Earls Colne was my other airfield.
